bits & pieces of jogja in a trailblazer week (a week when she finished 4 books, 3 fanfics, and 3 yoga sessions) by @mirzca
Dear Silmi, This is an ode to our friendship and sisterhood, and perhaps to my inability to not take separations this emotionally. As I write this, I might or might not cry. Because yesterday at Wong Kie Setrasari, post-evening yoga flow, what was inside my head after that was no more yoga sessions with your mat beside mine. Though, as you know, it’s just me being me, automatically seeing things in extremes, so I keep telling myself it won’t be forever, of course!! How could I not, you were there most of the time. On my inversion highs and my depressing-thought lows. You keep on giving, and giving, and giving. And now that you’ll be in another part of the world, the space you’ve left is so huge I need to tell the world. But despite this, I hope you know that I’m so proud of you; of your resilience in exploring yoga poses (remember our first ever yoga session together?), of your courage in keeping your eyes on the ball despite having lived your life the opposite way (like focusing on getting the scholarship!!), of your curiosity, which I may never possess. I hope you can always celebrate the life you’ve chosen for yourself. Thank you for being a good friend to me, Cim. Au revoir, or in Chinese… 再见 by @mirzca
