so it's been a while, but i'm getting back to my club kid roots and performing tonight ~ *father I have sinned and broken a cardinal rule: never perform and do decor in the same night) ~ BUT f**k you father, I'm getting back in the m'fing SADDLE!

the horse might be an undead zombie, but nonetheless I'm calling all tortured souls, fallen angels and delightfully depraved little sinners to watch one last race 🐎

the gates of the underworld are opening, the feast is being prepared, and souls are on the menu.

Tonight, 31st October, collingwood basement 🩸

The Thylacine and Rat King are phenomenons that have stuck with me for a long time. I remember seeing the Tassie tiger on the Cascade beer bottle as a kid and thinking "What is that?"... It was shrouded in so much mysticism. The Rat King, whilst a gruesome and cruel inevitable death commonly caused by overpopulated rats nests, has a weird kind of beauty to it. The specimens found almost look like a flower. And like humankind, the Rat King's survival is reliant on a harmonious co-existence.

Both are almost supernatural and powerfully symbolic of our world. The Thylacine is the ghost of all that is lost, whilst the Rat King is the inescapable existence we are bound to.

& @holajono & the MANY angels that put so much work into thia event. This was one of the most incredible beautiful nights ~ iterating this art installation and watching it evolve has brought me so much joy (even though everytime I say I'll never do it again its too hard) it's just too good not share and everytime we do it it gets levelled the fuck UP ✨🙏
