📍Shu Jiao Fu Zhou
Stopped by this place for a quick fix of chinese food! The line was pretty long but it moved pretty quickly. I loved the fish ball soup— very authentic to fu zhou and tasty. Potstickers were crunchy and filled with meat, but was on the greasy side. The peanut noodles were a miss for me— not sure if they just left the peanut butter out by accident but my noodles just tasted like straight soy sauce. Overall, it’s a no frills cheap eats spot, but the food is def hit or miss.

📍Serra Provisions
Ngl I so badly wanted to gatekeep this spot but good food needs to be shared :). Serra is an Italian food lover’s dream with the most fresh produce and highest quality ingredients. Though they have pizza and other options as well, the sandwiches are def my favorite. The prosciutto di Parma is my go-to but you cannot go wrong with any of the options! The homemade focaccia is yummy🥖

📍Jinsang Gukbap
This new Korean spot in Queens really surprised me with how good the food was. The short rib was a standout dish being so juicy and tender. The seafood pancake and steamed eggs were both delicious as well, but one of the must get items is the premium beef head soup, which packs such a deep flavor and is so warm & comforting.

as a New Yorker, I’ve had many amazing bagels in my lifetime but this crab dip bagel was honestly life changing. It’s cheesy, soft, full of crab meat and the old bay seasoning really makes it uniquely Maryland. The crab tamago sando had to be my favorite thing here from the soft milk bread to the delicate filling and generous portion of crab. I never drink black coffee but this Japanese brew was so tasty. Do yourself a favor and save this post for your next trip to Baltimore, Maryland 🦀🥯

📍Dirty Taco 🌮
Happy Taco Tuesday!! I’m obsessed with the nachos at Dirty Taco— both the Asian style nachos and dirty nachos are so tasty and comes in a huge portion. On Tuesdays, they do 3 tacos for $12 and $7 margaritas!! I will say their tacos are a hit or miss for me. Personally, I enjoyed the blackened salmon and al pastor tacos. You must get the nachos tho🤩. This location has an amazing view of the water and has indoor outdoor seating.

📍Tiga
Always a pleasure to eat at my favorite sushi restaurant 🤩. You MUST order the foxy lady roll- it’ll change your life (esp with that miso honey truffle sauce)!! Toro roll is so fresh and flavorful as well. You can’t go wrong with any of the rolls here tbh. You gotta make a reservation for this place bc it’s a small restaurant.

New claypot rice spot in Flushing? 👀🍚
OFC I had to check it out!

There’s so many different bowls to choose from and the portion is big. The crispy rice has that wok hei flavor and the crunch makes it so satisfying to eat! Personally, the premium sausage is my favorite because of that umami flavor it brings :)

📍Kuku
Finally another KOREAN spot on Long Island! The spicy chilled kudzu noodles were sooo chewy and it was the perfect refreshing dish. Kalbi marinade was delicious (on the sweeter side) and the pork belly wraps came with amazing kimchi and radish. Loved the vibe of the restaurant and I recommend checking this spot out!
