“God made two great lights—the larger one to govern the day, and the smaller one to govern the night. He also made the stars.”
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭1‬:‭16‬ 🌅🌌 by @missgrace250

2 years ago, I was living in the darkest seasons of my life. Despite being a believer, I had turned my back on the Lord and was living a reckless and selfish life that left me more empty and broken than ever. I entered Charleston Southern University with a broken heart and a soul that was in shambles.

That is when the Lord began to meet me.

Around 1 year ago today, I hit rock bottom. I was certain I had reached the point of no return with my faith and that God had given up on me.

BUT PRAISE TO THE KING OF KINGS AND THE LORD OF LORDS THAT HIS MERCY ENDURES FOREVER!!!

I cried out to Him defeated and broken, and He answered! I discovered that He had NEVER left or forsaken me! He began transforming every area of my life. He redeemed everything from my heart to my career path. He abundantly blessed me with a community of brothers and sisters who have shown me what it means to walk in RELATIONSHIP with the Lord.

No matter who you are, what you have done, or how far you think you have wandered, Jesus wants a relationship with YOU. There is no sin too great, no past too broken, and no distance too far for His grace to reach you.

Friendships, relationships, jobs, money, alcohol, sex, drugs, approval, attention, success…NONE OF IT WILL EVER FULFILL YOU!!! The things of this world may satisfy your flesh for a moment, but they can never satisfy your soul.

If you think you are too far gone, or have messed up too badly, or wandered too far away from God, I once believed the same thing. But I am living proof that my God is a God of REDEMPTION!!!
Jesus met me at my LOWEST. He took the parts of me I thought were broken beyond repair and made them whole and new.

I share this not so anyone will look at how much I have changed, but so that you will see WHO changed me. I am not perfect and I fall short, but I am no longer who I was, and that has nothing to do with my own strength, but EVERYTHING to do with Jesus Christ.

There is no distance too far for Him to bring you home. He is the Rock at the bottom. He redeemed me, He can redeem you too. Thank you Lord!!

“May the Lord bless you and protect you; may the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; may the Lord look with favor on you and give you peace.”

🌊Grateful for every blessing May brought!🏝️🌅“Look at the lilies of the field and how they grow. They don’t work or make their clothing, yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifully as they are. And if God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you.”
