This kitchen is full of flavors and stories!!!✨️
This animation thesis film is based on our director's stories when he was wandering around in his mom's restaurant in Bangkok, Thailand when he was 4 years old. 🇹🇭
.
"While mom (Khao) is busy cooking for everyone else in the restaurant, she loses sight of the most important ingredient in her life - her son (Tee)"✨️

|| PROP DESIGN || The Bar || 🇹🇭
A little piece of Thailand inside our restaurant.

This prop design explores one of the landmarks of Missing Ingredient — the bar, featuring Naga statues, traditional-inspired drink displays, elephant ivory and luxurious Nitro Bar surrounded by details inspired by Thai culture.

.
Thank you to SCAD and the VFX, Animation, and Motion Department for this amazing opportunity. It was a great pleasure meeting inspiring visitors and industry professionals while sharing our passion and vision for the film.

.
A shot of water flowing into a pot of lettuce—starting with rough layout and fully painted background in Photoshop, then animated in Toon Boom Harmony, and finally compositing it in After Effects.🥘🌟
