I love how the train picks up speed between Reading and London, the nearer it gets to the Big Smoke, as though pulled in by its gravity. Bushes, trees, electric lines, buildings blur into a canvas of colour that strains my eyes, the more I try to separate the objects. Thump, thump, thump sounds the life’s pulse in my ears. The energy, bigger than the city, its aura telling me, ‘This is where your heart beats.’

The most beautiful sunset I’ve ever seen. The sky was like a lid made from Murano glass over my little village.

Feel the fear and do it anyway. Fed two horsies some carrots, with a trembling hand, while cold-sweating. They were both super lovely and let me pat them. Beauties. ❤️
