Hey yall so I made this song a year ago with @brettmwasson been holding onto it for so long but wanted to release it for my birthday under the new moniker mistergoozeman. This song is about self discovery, feeling like everything is right on time. I wish I would have done a better rollout, but I just wanted to get this out of the vault and out there. Today for my birthday it would mean a lot if you listened to the song and shared it. Hope yall enjoy !

Brother Toine, ain’t seen bro in bout 7 years s/o god for letting us have this morning together by @mistergoozeman

10 years ago I lost not only my father but my best friend. At that time I became angry at the world. How could God take him from me? He had just retired after 20 years of military service and years being a medical PEBLO. We had so many great memories. He was the best father I could ask for. He showed me discipline, integrity, and honor in what a man should look like. He didn’t give af about he was perceived, he was him. He grew up in a chaotic environment and joined the military to better himself. He met a lovely women in a spring night of 86 and fell in love. Him and mother had 3 lovely children and did the best they could to raise them. Growing up I didn’t realize how privileged I was to have my father in my life. He introduced me to sports, music, movies, exercise, video games, travel. He was hilarious and always made me laugh. Sometimes he was an asshole, but that was just him. Every night we would sing the “buddy” song before I went to sleep. I fucking loved that man. Over the past 10 years I have been lost. Dealing with the grief I turned to drugs and have struggled with substances since he passed. I had to learn a lot of things the hard way without his guidance. Everyday I miss him but I know his spirit still lives. Now that I’m father I wish he was here to be the loving grandfather I know he would have been. I wish I got the chance to drink and smoke with him. I miss his cooking, his scent, his opinions, his laugh, his voice. I will forever grateful for him and the memories we had. I am grateful for him in how involved he was with my life. Taking me to school, taking me to practice, helping me with my basketball game, going on trips and listening to music/ comedy, going to concerts, movies, games, teaching me how to carry myself. I fucking miss you dad, these past 10 years have been rough, but I know you been with me in spirit on this journey. Now that I’m a father I just wish that I can be half the man you were to my children. One day we will be reunited and I can’t wait to embrace you again and catch up. To Thomas Edward Guzman, a loving husband, father, friend. Love your son , Richard Arthur Thomas Guzman. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ by @mistergoozeman

happy Mother’s Day Jazlyn! I’m grateful to call you a partner and the mother of our beautiful baby Harriet.
I know at first when you told me you were pregnant, I wanted nothing to do with y’all, but you’ve made me a better man. Through my ups and downs you have always stayed and supported me regardless. I’m proud of the woman you’re becoming and you’re a great mother. it’s crazy how we to started as coworkers, giving you rides to home, to playing pool, having drinks at your bar. From the days in cove to Salado to Killeen, we’re on this journey together. I know at times I can be an asshole, but I love you and am grateful for every experience with you Krispy Kreme. I love you to the moon and back, yours truly goose ❤️❤️❤️❤️ by @mistergoozeman

Summer ‘25, what a fooking doozy yeah. Started off summer getting fired from pluckers over some bull 💩, had just moved in with an old coworker was partying every night while working out every day. Got to see all my family for a week in DFW are, love my mother, sisters & niblings. Found out ima be a father on my birthday 😂 s/o my baby momma my kid gonna have some loving kind parents. Got into some drama with roommates and OG, moved out the crib to stay with OG temporary. Did my first show on 6th street in Austin & first performance in Fort Worth. Found a new job at this bad ass resort in the hill country as a bartender. Got into several side quests where I should have never accepted, but learned a lot about the person I am and the person I am not this summer. Grateful for the new chapter and blessings in my life. Happy to finally be on my own again after a 4 year hiatus of journey. No longer blaming others for my downfalls and addiction. Battling demons everyday but my angels here to protect and guide. Loving every second of life even when I’m annoyed and pissed off, I’ll be better eventually. Love everyone I met over the past few years with jobs, music, etc. enjoy the process look at all the progress. No longer chasing summer, found bliss within myself. Getting clean and lean main priority this fall so I can be strong for my baby this winter. Love yourself and treat others with kindness, no longer RATG, this Mr. GÜZMÁN 💟☮️✝️⚛️☯️♊️ by @mistergoozeman
