For years I have been focusing on these very large cover ups as I love the idea of taking something that is no longer pleasing to the person for aesthetics or maybe for the memories associated with the body art. One of my very sweetest of friends @hellohannahcho wanted something very beautiful that would speak to her edgy and bright style, Korean heritage and love, and who she is now as a fashion icon, mother, wife, business owner, inventor, and artist….this is the start of her sleeve and we are 6 sessions deep. We did a great job together trying to encapsulate all of these complexities while making it a very fun and satisfying project that covers up all her old tattoos! Can’t explain how excited I am about this project and look forward to every appointment. By the way….Hannah and I can talk for days about all kinds of topics and have played around about having our own podcast! It’s a fun thought….who knows! @hellohannahcho @mistylockettattoo #revolutionink #hellohannahcho by @mistylockettattoo

the before and after is crazy! when you go to a tattoo cover-up specialist, your options for a new tattoo are unlimited! often we think the cover-up needs to be similar to the old tattoo or be darker or that you can’t cover black with color or vice versa. none of that is true 🙌 bring me your new tattoo ideas and dream big! 🗓️ my fall schedule is almost full, and winter is filling up fast! book soon ✔️ #coveruptattoo #tattoocoverup #besttattooartist #realismtattoo #outerspacetattoo by @mistylockettattoo
