One of the most INSANE spots I’ve ever stood. I didn’t even understand how crazy it was until I saw it through the eyes of my drone!
This stunning coastline can be found in the Faroe Islands. Specifically, the south-west coast of Suduroy.

Settling into the Danish winter after 7 weeks abroad - India, Thailand, and Vietnam. What an amazing trip. Truly thankful for the opportunity and the ability to travel across the world. Can’t wait to share more from the trip. 🤙🏼

5 years since I captured one of my all-time favorite images.

The conditions were incredibly rare. A large part of the Vejle Fjord had frozen over after an unusually cold February, and to top it off, a dense fog rolled in and completely engulfed the bridge.

After shooting from the ground, and carefully stepping a little way out onto the ice, the composition started forming in my head. I knew I needed elevation.

So I unpacked the drone, launched it, and slowly moved back out over the frozen fjord. Then I jumped and hit the shutter at the exact same moment.

When I got home and saw it on my computer, it didn’t feel real.

I’ve had countless comments saying it must be fake or heavily photoshopped which honestly makes it even more meaningful to me.

Still waiting for @carhartt to buy it, though. 👕

Forstår mig?? 😅
This is one of those things that makes me cringe pretty hardcore and makes me wanna block everybody I know from this video, but sometimes it’s good to feel uncomfortable and put yourself out there. 🥹 by @mitch_wies

I love stumbling upon churches that are 5x older than the country I’m from 😅

Finally finding some time to explore our local area. This morning we visited the tower on Fru Mettes Bjerg: a place with one of the best views around, and some pretty interesting old tales to go with it. 😅 After the climb, the experience peaked as we found some wild blueberries along the way.🫐 (see last pic) It’s been so lovely having Nana and Papa over from Canada for the past couple of weeks, and finding time in the middle of some renovations and work to get outside and see what’s around.

On a more technical photography note, (in case you’re interested) all of these photos are SOOC with no editing done. I’m really enjoying using film recipes on my Fujifilm for my nonprofessional work. Getting home without having to edit and just having images that look so stylized straight out of camera is so fun - and helps me continue to keep photography as a hobby, even though it’s my profession. 📸
So big thx to @fujifilmnordic for that!
