💚💛🏆 20 years since my first National Championship. I wasn't anywhere near skilled enough, placed last. On Saturday, I entered my first comp in about five years. With all of ~1 hour riding trials this year, I had no expectations (other than to not finish last). So, it meant a lot to have my little fam there as I finally landed my first National title (in Masters, I’m old now). *also, now they've seen Dad compete with 100% success 😂😂 📷 @sydneytrials @simon_betteridge · · · · · #trialsnats22 #biketrial #biketrials #trial #trials #trialsin #trialsrider #trialrider #trialsbike #trialbike #trialsriding #trialriding #mtbnats #mtbnationals #nationalchamp #nationalchampion #nationaltitle #bikedad #trialsdad #trialsdadlyf #trialslife by @mithc
2026 ⏪️ 2016 Bummed that I didn’t catch @hansnowayrey during Sea Otter; but as luck would have it, I happened to bump into him at dinner on the final night. Still grateful for this legend playing a big part in where I am today 🙏🏼 Thanks to the also legendary @jacobstrail for the pic (good to catch up with you too!) by @mithc
Nothing quite like peeling off the tape 🤌🏼 I’ve been testing samples of the new @pirelli_cycling_au Scorpion range – my first time using Pirelli for MTB (longtime fan on the road). Nothing short of fantastic! 🦂 by @mithc

Retro refresh. New tyres & TPU tubes, bartape, waxed chain 🤌🏼 Placed on the scales; for a steel bike with metal parts, I was quite impressed. *Edit: lighter than some modern carbon bikes with Di2 & carbon wheels… Take a guess? #jimbundy #bundycustom #steelisreal by @mithc

One of the first to be delivered in the country, check out @lukejacobz brand spanking new 5th generation Merida Reacto 8000! With this new generation, Merida have built the Reacto from the ground up, to not only be faster, and lighter, but still just as comfortable as the outgoing model. 10 watts faster than the previous bike at 45km/h, and breaking the 200-watt barrier in Tour Magazine’s testing, the new Reacto is well and truly a modern race bike, also featuring tyre clearance of 32mm. She’s a beauty Luke, and is likely to be the cynosure of all eyes at the @tourdecureaus ! Stay tuned for more info about the Reacto in its latest guise! #merida #reacto #filmb #tourdecure #rideyourbike by @mithc
I am lost for words! Here it is.. the 2027 Merida Reacto 8000! Huge thanks to @mithc for making all of this possible. Released to the world on 6/3/26, I am so privileged to be one of the first to ride it. Massive thanks for all of the support and generosity from Pedal Group and @meridabikesaus. We set off on our 1,400+km ride from ACT to TAS, 20.000m+ climb and 9 gruelling days in less than a week and this baby is going to get me there! To say that I LOVE this bike is an understatement! #filmbike I can't wait to push my limits to ride further than I have ridden before. Let's ROLL! I may not be fast, but atleast I will look good on this. by @mithc
