Malaysian-born, Singapore-based artist Miun brings a deeply personal exhibition to the Lower Gallery at Objectifs this coming October. “Goodby- -” is a solemn yet tender farewell to a part of herself lost to breast mastectomy.

Presented in monochrome Polaroids, each work captures raw, unaltered moments that are fragile yet enduring. Through light and shadow, the series reveals grief, acceptance, and survival, holding space for vulnerability and strength to coexist. What begins as a funeral for her breast becomes a tribute to its absence, an offering where scars are honoured, caregiving acknowledged, and healing embraced.

“Goodby- -” opens on Friday 10 October, 7pm to 9pm, in conjunction with the opening of our Women in Film & Photography exhibition openings. An artist talk and tour with Miun will take place on Saturday 18 October, 3pm to 4pm. Learn more and register for the talk at our link in bio.

Please note that this exhibition is rated Advisory 16 (Some Nudity). taken in Objectifs - Centre for Photography and Film by @8storeytree

AtoZ Polaroid Painting - 2018
Miun approaches art and life with a creative, experimental spirit. She sees her art as a playground for her unpretentious expressions. As part of her initiative to reuse leftovers from previous projects, Miun utilized the shapes formed by the chemicals in expired Polaroid films to dream up the AtoZ of sex.
