EPISODE 2 of Sunday Snacks 🫒 A few years back I had a Bifana in Lisbon, Portugal and I’ve been trying to recreate it ever since. Nothing has come close to the real thing but this took a pretty good swing at it! #food #bifana #portugese by @mixwmeg
Join me for a Friday potter around the kitchen 🍴 I charred some beautiful leek and mixed that through some mustardy beans to be served as a bed for my crispy chicken thighs - perfect for a cold day 🧊 #food #leek #chickenthighs #homemade by @mixwmeg
Cold weather calls for a classic roast. This is a very rough around the edges pork roast that I whacked together mid week and it certainly did the job 🍏🐽 #winter #roastpork #roastdinner by @mixwmeg
A little pork sando on the fly! Home ciabatta played a crucial role here once warmed through. Slapped everything together and voila - lunch 🥪🤌🏼 #porksando #lunch #homemade by @mixwmeg
Here it is.. a little Sunday Snacks series 🫒🍨🍡 One of my favourite ways to gear up for the week ahead on a Sunday is to cook a little something special to enjoy with a glass of wine, movie, or both! #sunday #cooking #arancini by @mixwmeg
I had a lemon pasta in Athens last year that blew my mind and I’ve been trying to recreate it ever since. This isn’t quite there but with the addition of the pesto pangrattato on top - it’s definitely something 🍋🍝 #pasta #cooking #lemon #pesto by @mixwmeg
I don’t reallyyyy know what this was supposed to be but I loved how it came out. I was a little bit inspired by the humble pea and lettuce soup and wanted to dress it up somehow so here’s what we got! 🥬🫛 #food #eat #pea #lettuce #chicken by @mixwmeg
