Story time: The night I moved out of my house into my Tacoma without a real plan other than I just wanted the freedom to wander
.
It was 9pm on a Thursday night in May of 2023 when I’d dropped the last of my belongings at storage and handed the keys over to my new tenant. Washington will always feel like home, these mountains became a special part in the journey #washington #adventure #backpacking #pnw #upperleftusa

My 1st so trip in the mountains, I’d done the beach, a trip to Havasu falls & car camping. Backpacking solo in an area with zero traffic seemed so scary!

Washington has so many huts & fire lookouts to hike or snowshoe to. This one has a stunning view of Rainier

Mt Baker area is a favorite year round

The goat rocks might just be my favorite wilderness area! With views of Adams, Rainier & St Helens by @mjcaldwell78
