Singing My Original Song That I Wrote “Leaving My Hometown” To Exorcise The Ghosts (Plural) In My Abandoned Childhood Home That I Personally Have Not Stepped Foot Inside In 9 Years, Which Canonically Is Located In My Hometown That I Left But Obviously Returned To, Briefly, In Order To Heal Something, But In This Instance Healing Is Like Ripping Off A Bandaid Made With Duct Tape And Gorilla Glue So It’s Left Quite The Burn And I Am Feeling Raw And The Guitar Is Out Of Tune Because It Has Been Sitting There For A While And I Tuned It Poorly Because I Am Nothing Short Of Dramatic And There Is Much More Healing To Do, And The House Has Become Overgrown With Weeds And I Am An Adult Now And The Man Who Did Those Horrific Things To Me As A Child Is Dead. I’m Sorry I Didn’t Call While I Was In Town But I Do Not Plan To Come Back And I Hope You Will Understand. Yes This Is Performance Art And Yes This Is A Poem But It Is Also My Life And Hopefully A Tax Write Off. Happy New Year by @mo.m4a
so stoked and so grateful to really loudly announce my single release show at @thebuttonwoodtreepac (9 Pleasant St) in middletown ct on November 20 - with @andie.arel !!! tickets are available in my bio 💙 if you haven’t yet: - pre-save blessings at the link in my bio - it’s out november 13! - buy a ticket to the show - even if you can’t make it! all of it will be going to support the buttonwood, andie, and myself 🫶 releasing this song is probably the hardest thing i have ever done, and i’ve done some really hard things in my life. your support means so much. thank you! i love you! (come to my show PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE) by @mo.m4a

dear everyone, hello i’m mo and i make music and BLESSINGS IS OUT NOVEMBER 13 and here’s my news: 1. i’m playing a few super cool shows soon, all little stops on my little music journey :) lately i’ve been appreciating learning something new about myself every time i perform, & that none of these gigs are ever the same. join me for part of the madness (and if you can only come to one, puhLEASE come to my single release show november 20!) *edit* - 10/31 brown’s harvest is at 12:00 pm in windsor ct! (i was sleep deprived making this) 2. blessings - my next song - will be out on bandcamp for sure on november 13, and hopefully out on streaming services of your choosing on that date too. i didn’t know how hard doing most of this by myself would be when i started making music years ago, and tbh i’ve been facing outrageous wait times with my current distributor. but that’s okay! we live and we learn and we say oh well and, well, also tbh i’ve been sitting on this song for a long time (i wrote it in 2022) so what’s a few more days maybe? we’ll see what happens. it’s up to the universe. in the meantime i’ll be practicing songs about zombies and vampires for halloweekend, which is fitting. — in this current moment of my life i feel like some things dormant and half dead have been stirring within me, and i gotta revive some, and then kill some. and change and grow. and take care of myself and do my laundry like everyone else. take care of yourself, i’ll see you soon, xo mo by @mo.m4a
blessings, my next single, is yours november 13. #lovewillleadtheway by @mo.m4a

Interrupting my VERY INTENTIONAL & EARNESTLY CAMPY CRYPTO-POSTING to tell you plainly: 1. I am MOpening for @andie.arel’s EP RELEASE SHOW ON OCTOBER 3 THIS SATURDAY! Andie is one of the best of the best lyricists and musicians ever and I am so so lucky to be their friend. i am so stoked to support their EP release (and! and! they have been nominated for RISING STAR OF CT so reminder to uhh vote for andie for president!!!) notably, on october 3, at this show, i will announce something beautiful and true - it has to do with that damn November 13 i keep talking about. because andie said i could and i would trust her with my life. 2. I had the pleasure of appearing on Gramma’s Attic Music Revue with @amesdot and you should check out the whole show on the youtubes. (don’t worry- no spoilers!) 3. vinnie was looking super cute this morning. that’s it. COME TO THE BUTTONWOOD OCTOBER 3 MARK YOUR CALENDAR FOR NOVEMBER 13 AND WHILE YOU’RE AT IT MARK YOUR CALENDAR FOR NOVEMBER 20th idk something might happen…who knows? by @mo.m4a
