If you hate bench Bulgarians this is for you!

Idk what’s wrong with me but my entire life my toes/feet/calves have ALWAYS cramped super easily. EVERY time I have tried Bulgarians on a bench my toes cramp up so bad. So if this is you try it this way!

They have accessories in most gyms that are essentially the same thing as this but I don’t have one so this is what I use!

Don’t get me wrong I have BAD endo and majority of the time when it’s the first day of my cycle I’m down bad in the fetal position for the first half of the day. BUT, as soon as I feel able in that first day I’m hitting my workout.

NOTHING has ever helped me more with pain than consistent training, good nutrition, and creatine. And nothing has ever hurt me more than falling off track.

Sometimes this day comes with adjusting weights and going a TINY BIT lighter, but I’ve also hit PRs. You just gotta listen to your body (and I don’t mean skip your workout). by @modivus.training

A random day of eating. I don’t really track but I do keep an eye on my protein. I aim to eat Whole Foods over protein shakes and I try to eat the rainbow as much as I can! by @modivus.training

Let me be your “harsh truth” friend for a sec 🫰

Let’s break this down because I hear this ALL THE TIME from girls who don’t lift or are scared to get “bulky”

Looking t0ned or defined comes from having a decent level of muscle built in your body and losing enough body fat percentage to see it.

Do you know how hard it is to actually get bulky or build up enough muscle to “look like a man”. You have to train intentionally for YEARS or be on something or have insane genetics for that to happen.

Trust me, and let me hold your hand when I say this…

that’s not you.

If it was you would already have those muscles.

For the majority who have never set foot in a weight room you probably have a tiny baby amount of muscle.

That was me.

Noodle body parts packed with fat and just about zero muscle.

I’ve been lifting decently hard for SEVEN years now and I don’t look anything like a man.

Now let’s look back. You need 1. Low body fat percentage and 2. A decent amount of muscle to get that look you’re asking for.

What is the best way to build muscle? Strength and resistance training.

How to you burn fat faster? By building muscle.

This isn’t just a guess or from my own experience. This is based on THOUSANDS of SCIENTIFIC STUDYS.

So really the answers to what you’re wanting are in the weight room, not the Pilates studio.

Your body isn’t special, your body isn’t different. Your body works the same as everyone else. You plug in the effort and discipline to the RIGHT TRAINING and you’ll get the results.

Don’t get me wrong Pilates is a great addition if you really enjoy it. But it absolutely will not move the needle if you don’t also grow your muscles in the gym.
