Tomorrow is the big day. Can’t wait to walk the aisle to my perfect man. Love you my dear husband!🤍☀️💍🇬🇷🫶🏻 by @moeee923
🌕 **SOME BOOKS JUST SCRATCH THAT PERFECT ITCH.** And *The Butcher Legacy* by Alaina Urquhart did exactly that for me. I love a thriller that challenges what I think I know. The kind where the suspense builds, the relationships get increasingly complicated, and a revelation makes me reconsider something I read two books ago. Alaina managed to give me all of that. And the best part? This one has officially taken the top spot in the series for me. 🖤 So, naturally, we had to give it the full Cozy Midnight Collective treatment. 📖 A little visual review. 🌕 Our signature Moon Rating. 💌 And a special thank-you to the mind behind the madness herself. **COMING SOON:** A separate, approximately six-minute on-camera review! Just me, sitting down with you to discuss what made this book so memorable and why I still have approximately a million questions. 😂 @alainatothemax , thank you for continuing to give us stories worth talking about long after we've finished reading. Now I want to hear from you! **Have you read The Butcher Legacy? Where does it rank in the series for you?** Let's keep the comments spoiler-free so everyone gets to experience those twists for themselves. && remember… some stories are meant to haunt you. 🖤 #TheButcherLegacy #AlainaUrquhart #Bookstagram #ThrillerBooks #CozyMidnightCollective #Booktok by @moeee923
🖤 The algorithm brought you here for a reason… Maybe you’re a spooky-story enthusiast, a bookworm, a lover of all things witchy, or someone who likes a little darkness with their cozy.🌙📚🕯️ Whatever brought you to my little corner of the internet, pull up a chair. There’s always room for one more Midnight Soul.🦇 Tell me in the comments: Are you here for the books, the spooky stories, or a little bit of both?👇 #CozyMidnightCollective #SpookyTok #Bookstagram #SpookyStories #WitchyVibes by @moeee923
✨👻In our ghost era, but mostly just in our ‘friends for a quarter of a century’ era. Flew in for a day to wrap @nikkiclingan in love (+ a sheet). Forever grateful to be part of the family. 👻📚 Even ghosts need a good book. Some people are decorating for spooky season. I’m out here reading ghost stories like I haven’t learned my lesson from every horror movie ever. 😂🕯️ Give me haunted places, unexplained encounters, creepy folklore, and stories that make me question why I’m reading alone at night. 🎃 Your turn: What’s the creepiest Ghost 👻 Story you’ve ever read—or the one you think everyone should hear this #SpookySeason #SpookyReads #HorrorBooks #Bookstagram #CozyMidnightCollective by @moeee923
**THE PARTS OF ME YOU DON'T SEE 🖤** ⚠️ CW: Childhood trauma, suicide attempt, substance use, abuse, sexual violence, mental illness, and full-term pregnancy loss. Today is World Mental Health Day, and I'm in the mood to get personal. At 38, I've learned that sharing your story can be terrifying. People can be cruel and judgmental. But if something I've experienced helps even one person feel less alone or recognize a red flag, maybe sharing is worth it. By 12, I'd survived a suicide attempt. The next day, I was sent to school wearing my hospital bracelet. By 13, I was smoking weed before school. By 14, I was drinking. I wasn't trying to become a problem. I was a kid who needed help. I left home young, survived abusive relationships, stalking, and sexual violence, and eventually became a CVICU nurse. I spent years caring for people during the worst moments of their lives while struggling to care for myself. I became a mother. I found a husband who showed me a love I hadn't believed was possible. And then I lost my son. Odin died at birth at 38 weeks. I carried him, loved him, gave birth to him, and went home without him. Later, I welcomed Adeline. But grief doesn't disappear simply because something beautiful happens afterward. I've lived with complex PTSD, severe depression, anxiety, and postpartum depression. After almost three years away from nursing, I'm still figuring out what filling my own cup looks like. I'm still a hot mess sometimes. I overthink, swear, love fiercely, and have a questionable obsession with everything spooky. But I love stories. And I'm learning how important telling my own might be. Maybe that's part of what Cozy Midnight Collective is becoming for me. I don't have everything figured out. **I'm still here. And I'm still trying.** If you're figuring things out, too, there's room for you here. 🖤 What's one small thing that helps you feel like yourself again? Thank you for staying up with me. 🌙 #WorldMentalHealthDay #MentalHealthAwareness #ComplexPTSD #CozyMidnightCollective by @moeee923

Not all monsters hide in the shadows. 🖤📖 Sometimes the most unsettling stories are the ones that remind us just how frightening human nature can be. Today, I'm sharing a few passages from The Butcher Legacy by Alaina Urquhart. One of the things I've always appreciated about horror is its ability to make us uncomfortable, challenge our thinking, and sometimes leave us staring at a page long after we've finished reading it. And as Cozy Midnight Collective moves into this next chapter, I'm looking forward to exploring more of those stories with you. The creepy. The strange. The disturbing. The inexplicable. And everything in between. ⚠️ Content warning: References to sexual violence and abuse. 🩸 Let's talk horror! What's the most disturbing book you've ever read? Drop your recommendations below. My TBR can always use another nightmare. 👻 #CozyMidnightCollective #HorrorBooks #TheButcherLegacy #HorrorReaders #Bookstagram by @moeee923

Changes are coming to @cozy.midnight.collective …🌙 Things are going to look at little different, but the heart of CMC is still the same — cozy vibes, dark stories, and a community that feels like home🖤✨ Stay tuned.. it’s gonna be a good one 👀 by @moeee923
✨We met when we were 12, and now somehow we’re both 38. ❤️ 26 years of friendship. 26 years of growing up, growing older, and doing life together. From junior high to adulthood. From working our first jobs together at McDonald’s to careers and career changes, children, moving across the country, heartbreak, new beginnings, and all of the beautiful chaos in between. We’ve been there for the big moments and the little ones. We’ve celebrated each other, picked each other up, laughed until we cried, cried when life got hard, and supported each other through every version of ourselves. And even after all these years and all these miles, nothing has changed. We can still FaceTime and talk like no time has passed — just like those two 12-year-olds who had no idea how much life they were going to live together. We’ve done it all. And I know we always will. ❤️ Happy 38th birthday to my best friend. I’m so grateful for every chapter we’ve shared, and even more grateful that there are still so many chapters left to write. 26 years down. A lifetime to go. 🥂❤️✨ by @moeee923
🌧️ We had to put our sweet Aiden down yesterday. It was a sad day. I’m still sad. Anyone who was close enough to me to meet him - he was so sweet + calm. When I adopted him he had been clearly traumatized by a male in his early days (I got him at 6 months). He was terrified of men. I mean, my dad could just enter the room and he would pee + poo just on site. It was literally the saddest thing. Well, I hired a private trainer that specializes in trauma in dogs, and had her come over to the house to work with us. It was a long road but he made it to the point of being able to be around men, without losing control of his body. He still never truly liked men, but certain ones he could stand for short periods of time. Basically, he was mine + I was his, in an odd+traumatizing bond - he knew I would understand and accept him. He’s been around for ALMOST as long as I had Sofey. I wonder how much fun he’s having with Odin, Sofey + Sushi. To be pain free has got to be the best feeling. Miss you our sweet NiiiNii 😭🫶🏻 #Goodboy #CockerSpanial #Fifteen #Euthanasia #RainbowBridge by @moeee923
