Time to play catch up! Last February, I was lucky enough to get a call from @ala.hawaii that I had booked a small speaking role in @disney ‘s live action remake of Lilo & Stitch. Unfortunately, as can be the case with many films, my scene was left on the cutting room floor. Though it sucks to not see your work on screen, what a joy it was to be a part of a large scale production and work with some incredible people over the course of two days. It was so cool to work (if briefly) with fellow improviser and actor @kaipodudoit , as well as share a scene with the kind and friendly @sydneyagudong . @deanfleischercamp created the warmest set I’ve ever gotten to be on. And how cool it was to work on a film written by childhood friend Chris Bright. Extra special thanks to @alifewebuilt for taking these pictures on set (I was too scared). Here’s to hoping for Lilo & Stitch 2! by @hicomedyfest

With filming wrapping today, I wanted to celebrate being a part of a brand new short film, Oli! I was fortunate to be a part of this project, written and directed by @gn40 . Nick is a gracious, dedicated, and patient director, and every single person on his crew were so kind and fun (@jmgardiner is a pro DP, @looksbyknight made me look Bonita, and all@of the other folks behind the scenes whose IG handles I don’t have were amazing in their roles). I also got to share this scene with @dylanchacelee , savucesa, @officiallycherylnoelani , and @kahuapono . 8 hours flew by so quickly with this particular cast and crew. And the fact that it was a scene set at a karaoke bar?? Everything was perfect. Follow @oli_short_film for more info, updates, and of course the inevitable release date. Congrats to those who I didn’t get to work with directly, @rdaviscameron and @lele.kahalepunawong as well! Finally, if you’re feeling generous, check out https://www.gofundme.com/f/fund-oli-a-journey-to-heal-by-connecting-to-culture. What a great time it was to be on set and here’s to waiting for the premiere! taken in Chinatown, Hawaii by @hicomedyfest

Hawaii-based actors, performers, crew members, and beyond, help support Hawaii SB732! This would be a HUGE win for Hawaii and this will specifically give tax incentives to streaming services (of which we all know there are a TON). This will not only help performers based here in the islands, but create many jobs behind the camera and boost local businesses as well, furthering helping our economy. Use this link to submit your testimony and have your voice heard! https://www.capitol.hawaii.gov/session/measure_indiv.aspx?billtype=SB&billnumber=732&year=2025 by @hicomedyfest

This Friday, November 22nd, we have our FREE staged reading of an original musical written by the talented JP Brabant (@smallsongsmusical ) at Orvis Auditorium! The show tells the story of Ub Iwerks, the lead animator for the original Mickey Mouse cartoons and the man who essentially made Mickey into a global icon. My fellow cast mates are all wickedly talented as well, bringing multiple characters to life. I’ll be playing Walt Disney (and Mervin) and can’t wait to share this premiere alongside @hai_choo , @barriekealoha , @morethanjustmalis , and @djconnell ! taken in Orvis Auditorium, University of Hawaii at Manoa by @hicomedyfest

HAPPY ONE YEAR (and a day) ANNIVERSARY!!! To my beautiful wife, @heyitseesh. ♥️💍 Thank you for being the one person to love me fully, support me fully, and make me a better man and husband. One year went by fast, so I hope that every year hereafter slows down a bit. But I savor every moment and will love you always and forever. If my chubby little 8 year old self could see the woman I am married to now, he would be STOKED. ¡Thank you for everything mi ESPOSA!🌙✨😘 by @hicomedyfest
