POSTS STORIES REELS

Today was the cast & crew screening for Eastbound Traffic 🎬
It’s an action film with some lighter moments, but also shines a light on the story of vulnerable undocumented women who can end up in situations where, without papers, their disappearance goes unnoticed.

I wanted to share some pictures of this great character, Adriana, that I had the privilege to play. Hoping this gets distributed soon! 🤞🏻

Huge credit to the stunt and action team — they were incredible. And to Chuck, our director, who spent 12 years bringing this project from writing, to financing, to completion.

I am so happy to say that I finally have work that people can easily watch!

Here’s a reel featuring scenes from projects released over the past year. Lots of guns in The Silent Service (沈黙の艦隊) and Tokyo Vice, screaming at @rezwearzbowtiez in The Investor, but I think I had a good range of softer scenes in that one too. Now it's up to you to make use of your screaming service (or check it out on their free trials)!

2025.6.19 — A very long monologue
"If You Had Spoken, Desdemona”

This year I decided to share more clips of me acting. I'm not sure how this will play out on social media because it's a bit long and meant for the stage. But I am happy to share a piece of this play I did last year with people who didn't have a chance to see it.

This monologue, written by Jacqueline Roussety, is based on Christine Brückner’s book If You Had Spoken, Desdemona (『もしあなたが話してくれていたら、デズデモーナ。』 / Wenn du geredet hättest, Desdemona).

Context: In Shakespeare’s Othello, Othello comes to the "conclusion" that his wife, Desdemona (played by me), is cheating on him because he sees another man, Cassio, with her handkerchief. Actually, she is innocent, but he is too overwhelmed with jealousy to see it. He then proceeds to commit acts of violence against his wife, ultimately ending the play with her murder.
This monologue is what Brückner and Roussety believe Desdemona should have said after the first act of violence.

“Hamlet” 「ハムレット」英語劇

Thank you so much to everyone involved in this project. To Andrew and YTG, who almost single-handedly brought this project to life. To the fantastic actors who gave their time, sweat, and tears (many tears!) for months to make this show happen. To our crew and volunteers, we couldn’t have done it without you. And to everyone who came to watch our show.

Audition day with Godzilla!

It's a shame that movie auditions are so rare (for foreign actors). Auditioning is a numbers game, so I wish I could do it more often. Just lost a big-ish job I passed the audition for because of a scheduling conflict with Hamlet... Maybe one day I'll have enough money to move to Hollywood and get to audition more frequently... until then, fingers crossed for new stuff this year. by @molinos_paula
