I think it’s time for a little change, and a new chapter for Moments & Makers.
When I first started The Makers Mail Club, I had so many ideas and so much excitement about creating something special for my community.
It has been such a lovely little part of Moments & Makers, and I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported it, subscribed, shared their happy mail and been part of it along the way.
But lately, I’ve found myself wanting to create more freely. I want to spend more time illustrating, experimenting with new ideas, designing stickers, making stationery and creating products that genuinely feel like me.
I’ve also realised that I don’t want my creativity to feel like a monthly deadline or a time crunch. I want to make art because I love making art, not because I’m trying to meet the next mail club deadline.
After being at around 25 subscribers for quite some time, I’ve decided that rather than continuing to pour my energy into something that no longer feels quite right, I’d love to put that energy somewhere new.
So, the Makers Mail Club is coming to an end, but Moments & Makers stationery products aren’t going anywhere. In fact, I’m hoping this is just the beginning of something even more exciting!
My focus will now be on growing the online store, creating new products, sharing more of my own artwork and bringing lots of little creative ideas to life.
Thank you for being part of the Makers Mail Club. Whether you were here from the very first envelope or joined along the way, I’m so grateful.
Change isn’t always a bad thing. Sometimes it’s just making room for the things you’re most excited about.
Goodbye, Makers Mail Club. And hello to a new chapter of Moments & Makers. by @momentsandmakers
