What better day to celebrate our October MOM of the Month than today #stayathomemoms day🤗

We’re a little late in sharing this recognition, but our MOMs are worth celebrating every day of the year!

Meet Sister Nadia, a stay-at-home MOM whose impact extends well beyond her home. While nurturing her family, she also makes time to nurture and strengthen her community.

From organizing families and advocating for change within her school district to engaging school board representatives and making sure community voices are heard, Sister Nadia is committed to making a difference. She also volunteers at @mcleanmuslims, helping educate and support the next generation.

And it’s not just what she does, but HOW she does it, if you know you know. Her warmth, beautiful smile, and genuine kindness make people feel seen, heard, and valued. She leads with both action and heart.

Today, we’re celebrating Sister Nadia and all the stay-at-home MOMs who remind us that motherhood is not limited to what happens within our homes. The impact of a MOM can be felt throughout an entire community!

Sister Nadia, we see you, we celebrate you, and we appreciate all that you do!!

We are honored to recognize you in partnership with our sponsor @khanelkhaliliusa , gifting her a luxurious fragrance from their exquisite world collection.

Know an amazing MOM? We’d love to celebrate her! Nominations are open to USA residents only. Nominations are open for December MOM of the month, and close Nov. 20th. by @momnetworkusa

On #womencrushwednesday I want to say thank you!!

This past weekend I received the Community Involvement Award from ICNA Relief, what an honor (MashaAllah). What made it meaningful is knowing that the work of MOMNetwork and the MOMs we serve is being seen. Alhamdulillah 🤲🏾.

A special thank you to @icnareliefva , and their local staff for recognizing me and the work we are doing to build community, strengthen sisterhood, and ensure that no MOM feels like she has to navigate motherhood alone.

And a heartfelt thank you to the Network, our community of women AND allies who show up, encourage us, celebrate our wins, and stand alongside us in this work.

MOMNetwork has never been about one MOM. It’s about all of us; women, our families, and allies coming together to share our gifts, build connections, and create a community where every MOM feels seen, celebrated, and empowered.

We can’t do it alone, so we do it in a Network of MOMs. by @momnetworkusa

Well done! What does it look like to dream big? What does it feel like to be in community? How do we build power?

@muslimsforjustfutures did it again and even better than the last time - 123 organizations - countless gems dropped. 2026 convergence🤗

Inspirational doesn’t reflect their 2nd convergence because it was pure power building.

They’re building power and we’re all welcomed.

Grateful for all the old and new friends I’ve met and information I walked away with.

Happy “Labor” Day to all the MOMs who never actually get a day off!

Today the rest of the world clocked out, but we know motherhood doesn’t. Know matter what stage of motherhood, it’s 24/7 labor.
It could be the planning, teaching, cleaning, comforting, advocating, or praying! And yet it’s one of the best jobs ever!!!

A few weeks ago Va MOMNetwork members connected. They showed up, not because they needed to add another thing on their calendar, but because they need to be seen, celebrated and empowered.
We build relationships, get advice, laugh,... and as one MOM said, it was “refreshing”.

You may never clock out, but as MOMs we need a moment to just be “refreshed”.

If you’re looking for a community designed for Mothers Of Muslims (MOM), look into joining MOMNetwork. Be a part of a community that’s all about supporting Motherhood.

We can’t do it alone, so we do it in a Network of MOMs!

A dedicated MOM of three, she pours into her children the same values that were poured into her showing them every single day what it looks like to love your family and your community with everything you have.
She’s an Instructional Assistant by day, a community pillar by heart working at not one, but two masjids alongside everything else she carries. And still, she shows up. Every. Single. Time.

Her nominator describes her as someone who shows up, gives wholeheartedly, and does what needs to be done for her family, for her community, without hesitation and without fanfare. She moves through life with a quiet strength and a dedication that speaks louder than any words ever could.

Meryem, MOMNetwork sees you. Your resilience, your sacrifice, and your servant’s heart do not go unnoticed. This month and every month you deserve to be celebrated.

We are so honored to recognize you in partnership with our sponsor Khan El Khalili, gifting her a luxurious fragrance from their exquisite world collection.

If you know a MOM within the USA complete the nomination form by Sept. 20th for October MOM of the month. 🥳

Spending time in Philly

This past weekend we enjoyed partnering with Peaceful Families Project (PFP) who held its annual Training of Trainers (TOT) in Philadelphia, two MOMNetwork members were among the trainers! 👏🏽 We enjoyed meeting folks, learning from each other and bringing awareness.

PFP work is all about strengthening Muslim communities by equipping leaders, advocates, and organizations with the knowledge and tools to address domestic violence, promote healthy relationships, and create safer families.

And this Saturday, Aug. 29th - @peacefulfamilies Young Adults 18 to 26 should register for the Youth Leadership Virtual Event. This Youth Leaders session, exposes young Muslim leaders to PFP work, allowing them to bring this conversation to their university campuses and communities. This is a great session to prepare their organization/MSA for Domestic Violence Awareness Month in October.

📅 PFP First Friday in October is dedicated to raising awareness about Domestic Violence.

MOMNetwork partners with PFP to help masjids and community organizations that would like a Domestic Violence Awareness table during Jummah, share resources, and help bring awareness to this important issue.

👉🏽 If your mosque or organization would like information about tabling, reach out to us and we’ll help you get connected. by @momnetworkusa

Six months from now, inshā’Allāh, we’ll be preparing to welcome Ramadan once again.

Looking back at Ramadan 2026, it brings me joy. It’s the amount of blessing the month brings, and the work that is done within. It’s not just the worshipping, but also the connection, community and togetherness.🤍

Meeting at the masjid for prayer, breaking our fast together, sharing special iftars, connecting with family and friends, standing together for Taraweeh, and celebrating Eid…

Ramadan brings:

✨ Forgiveness and mercy
✨ Multiplied good deeds
✨ The opening of the gates of Jannah
✨ Laylatul Qadr
✨ A renewed connection with Allah and the Qur’an
✨ The opportunity to worship and reflect together as a community

As we look back, we also look forward.🤲🏾

“O Allah, safeguard us until Ramadan, safeguard Ramadan for us, and accept it from us.” 🤲🏾

May Allah allow us to reach Ramadan 2027, prepare our hearts for it, and make it a source of forgiveness, growth, worship, and beautiful memories with our community.

Swipe through some moments from Ramadan 2026. 🌙❤️

Looking back at our May Honoring Role Model Ceremony. 💛 #tbt❤️

When we launched -#honoringrolemodels ceremony in 2017, our goal was simple: to recognize the women who often go unseen: the MOM, the volunteer, the mentor, the giver, the encourager, the sister who quietly makes a difference every day.

Not every honoree is pictured here, but every one has left a lasting impact.

The beautiful thing about recognition is the ripple effect. When someone feels seen and appreciated, they’re inspired to do the same for someone else.

Today, think about that sister in your life... and do something about it.

✨ Make du’a for her.
✨ Send her a small gift.
✨ Tell her thank you.
✨ Like, share, or comment on her post.

Let’s create a world where more women feel seen, valued, and celebrated, not just once a year, but every day.

Who will you see today? 💙
