@mongolian_momo_king, the cult food cart, has opened a brick-and-mortar in the East Village, where chef Kai Ochir and Franka Cappella are serving hand-pleated buuz (momo), tsuivan, rich milk tea, and sheep offal soup seven days a week. It’s some of NYC’s only authentic Mongolian food. Read more at the link in our bio. Story and Photography by @goudatalks by @mongolian_momo_king
Bayarlalaa duu nar mini. 🙇🏻‍♂️🙇🏻‍♂️🙇🏻‍♂️Wow what an amazing beautiful energy this kids have. Making people laugh is the most magnificent talent. That requires many lifetimes of merits I think. Thank you for stopping by and dropping your blessings. Mongols supporting Mongols is the most beautiful thing. Heading back to the 6ix for Canadian Thanksgiving, with one last stop at Mongolian Momo King in the East Village… our first taste of Mongolian cooking. Lamb-and-herb Buzz, steamed and then fried just enough to crisp the bottoms; Tsuivan, fried noodles with chewy lamb and crunchy carrot; and Niislel Salat, potato salad with egg and herbs. Over a cup of Suutei Tsai, owner Kai told us about the move from a popular food truck to a proper storefront. A good last meal in New York. An even better reason to come back. 🇲🇳 by @mongolian_momo_king
Nothing like authentic Mongolian food! @mongolian_momo_king is New York City’s first and only authentic Mongolian food business, which started as a cult-favorite food truck (we filmed it there this summer) and expanded to a permanent brick-and-mortar location just recently 👏. Now you can visit his restaurant: Mongolian Momo King East 12th Street, East Village, Manhattan, NY #mongolianfood #mongolianmomoking #newyorkcityeats #ratingfood #asianfoods by @mongolian_momo_king

🇲🇳 THE NEW YORK TIMES MAGAZINE AND MAY MORE SOCIAL MEDIA HIT US HARD — WITH BLESSINGS! 🗽❤️ #nytime #nyceats #nyc #nycfood #manhattan love has been overwhelming. After the incredible attention from The New York Times Magazine , we ran out of most of our items faster than we could have imagined. So today, we’re taking a short pause to reload, restock, and get ready to serve you even better. We’ll be CLOSED TODAY, and possibly every Monday going forward as we adjust to this beautiful new chapter. And what a Sunday it was Our first-ever Mongolian Sunday Brunch was a beautiful success! From Mongolia to Manhattan, your support is turning a dream into something real. Sometimes blessings arrive faster than you can prepare for them. We are grateful. We are humbled. And we are just getting started. 🇲🇳❤️ We will be back tomorrow. Tuesday. Much love kind regards Mongolian Momo King by @mongolian_momo_king
Proud Mongolian mom moment 🇲🇳🔥 Huushuur is one of my son’s favorite Mongolian food. It’s basically a fried meat pastry. It consists of a circle of wheat flour dough folded in half around a filling of minced or ground mutton, sometimes beef, and pan- or deep-fried. The meat is seasoned with onion and salt; some cooks also add garlic and pepper. PS. We filmed this during summer, before @mongolian_momo_king opened his restaurant. Now you can visit him there and enjoy some truly authentic Mongolian food which is amazing! Huge congratulations 👏!!! 📍Mongolian Momo King NYC 327 E 12th street NYC 10003 7 days a week 1-8pm 917-415-7502 #mongolianamerican #mongolianfood #bilingualkids #parentingwins #wholesomecontent by @mongolian_momo_king
