11 August: Today you turned 4 and the time has flashed before my eyes! Where have the years gone? How are you so big already? Everyone tells you to enjoy every moment as they pass you by so quickly, but you never believe it because when youā€™re in the trenches of those early baby years it feels like time is passing too slowly, and then suddenly you are fourā€¦A little person before my eyes with so much love, the most sensitive being who feels her mamaā€™s pain and hurt, and gives me small kisses and big hugs before I know I need themā€¦who is so strong willed and rambunctiousā€¦never change who you are! I am so proud of you my caring, sweet child who lights up my life and saves me every single day. Sloane Athena, Happy Birthday my baby - you are my heart ā™„ļø by @moni_garner
ā€¢DREAMS COME TRUEā€¢ An early start heading off to Lovina, so aptly named! A tranquil, peaceful place where dolphins dance and play as the sun rises and starts to shine over the warm sea in Bali. Captain Nemo from @northcoastdolphintour was a legend - we swam, we snorkelled in the reef, and overall the experience brought tears to my eyes! Listening to the dolphins talk to each other under water was a once in a lifetime experience for me and all Iā€™ve ever wanted to do - the ONLY way anyone should swim with dolphins - out in the open sea where they live freely šŸ©µ šŸ¬ My heart is full!! I couldnā€™t have asked for a better, more perfect day, probably my best day in Bali yet šŸ™šŸ¼ and making the time here worth it all! by @moni_garner
Thereā€™s not a day that goes by that I donā€™t miss you my Valentinoā€¦canā€™t believe youā€™ve been gone a year šŸŒˆšŸ’” You were THE BEST! So many photographs of you that I treasure! My heart and soulā€¦ by @moni_garner
11 August 2024: Our baby girl Sloane turned 3ā€¦where has the time gone? You are just the light of our lives. Keep shining as bright as you are and no one and nothing will ever stop you! You truly live up to your name - warrior šŸ©· Born in Dubai, moved to Cape Town and now living in Baliā€¦who knows where the future will take us, but all I know is that with you itā€™ll always be an adventure full of laughter and so much love! by @moni_garner
Smiles on the outside, but crying on the inside. After spending 6 weeks with Sloane all day everyday in this new environment, new home, new EVERYTHINGā€¦she did her first trial day at play school today šŸ„¹ And this mama was a mess. She loved it, and I hope the joy continues my baby girlā€¦Bali is amazing for Sloane, she truly is living her best life, is growing and changing every second, and hope she continues to love the adventure ā¤ļø by @moni_garner

And just like thatā€¦my baby starts play school šŸ©· 18ā€¢01ā€¢24šŸ©· Where has the time gone? You are my universe Sloane and you will soar I promise and I will always be there for you šŸ„¹ by @moni_garner
15ā€¢12ā€¢2015 - 21ā€¢09ā€¢2023 Gone too soon my baby boy Valentino šŸŒˆ I still have not come to terms with losing youā€¦you were my heart and my soul, my child, my first bornā€¦you knew when I was down and were there to comfort meā€¦my fellow chip eater, the politest at the dinner table, hand fed and totally spoilt every single day. But you deserved it! You survived FIP and I would do it all over again to have you back with me! But your little body and kidneys started to fail you my boy and Iā€™m so sorry I couldnā€™t save you this time šŸ˜šŸ’” I donā€™t know what I would have done without the support of Dr @marianagoncalvesmagalhaes who was with me every step of the way all the way from Dubaiā€¦and then my home grown Dr George who thankfully took the decision away from me as I would never have been able to do it. A part of my heart will never be mendedā€¦I miss you every single day! My gallery is full of pictures of you throughout your short time on this earth, and these are a small snapshot of your life. You were the most beautiful, blue eyed, gentle boy and I will miss you forever šŸ’™ by @moni_garner
