MATERIAL – Developed in collaboration with Flaurant Kadrija and supervised by Adeline Mollard, investigates the transformation of functional elements into visual forms and compositions. Focusing on the interplay between materiality and immateriality, the work deconstructs objects into normographic and tracing elements, translating utility into abstract visual language and experimental design exploration. The final outcomes are produced using red and silver screen printing on a black inkjet base. L’ARCHÉOLOGIE À L’ENVERS – An experimental journey through image, science, and fiction, L’archéologie à l’envers brings together the photographs of Giuseppe Curcio and Julia Gounon in a book articulated into six chapters. Traversing graphic and photographic languages with scientific methodologies, the project unfolds as a cycle in which fragments are archived, reconstructed, destroyed, reassembled, reordered, and ultimately reimagined. From analytical cataloguing to hypothetical illustrations, from archaeological gestures of symbolic violence to new sculptural configurations, the book oscillates between documentation and invention. Closing with a phase of false cataloguing set in an imagined landscape, L’archéologie à l’envers questions the shifting boundaries between reality, memory, and fiction. UN MONDE À GUÉRIR — REDCROSS MUSEUM, GENEVA – Developed in collaboration with Notter+Vigne. Questioning humanitarian imagery and its apparent immediacy. Present in our daily lives for more than a century, humanitarian photography often appears self-evident and univocal. By framing an event, the image offers a partial interpretation, leaving aside the complexity of what remains outside the frame. Drawing from over 600 photographs dating from 1850 to the present, selected from the collections of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Museum, the ICRC and the IFRC, this exhibition project reflects on the fragmentary nature of representation and the distance between image and reality. CASA GABY – Preserving memory and political heritage, Casa Gaby has long served as a gathering place and symbol for the Communist Party, fostering social cohesion and supporting progressive political initiatives. Over the years, militants — particularly from the Locarno section — have contributed to the upkeep and improvement of the space. Surrounded by newer high-density residential buildings, the original house, donated by Gabriella “Gaby” Antognini, will be demolished and rebuilt. This edition seeks to safeguard and archive its memory, collecting traces, memories, books, and objects once held within its walls. Developed in collaboration with Luca Riva, the publication transforms the history of Casa Gaby into a tangible narrative of memory and struggle. EDIZIONI ARCHE – A publishing project for inclusion and accessibility, Edizioni Arche embodies the idea of inclusion through a publishing philosophy grounded in the principle “always act in such a way as to maximise the number of possibilities,” a quote by philosopher Heinz von Foerster that serves as a guiding statement for the diploma project. The initiative emphasises the fundamental right to read and understand — accessibility as a form of empathy. Through graphic design, Arche explores editorial solutions that respond to diverse needs: comprehension challenges, motor difficulties, visual impairments, or simply the will to connect with others. At the same time, its books aim to reach a broader audience, fostering awareness of issues too often overlooked. VENIR MENO – A visual identity between dream and resistance, Venir meno by Francesca Sproccati unfolds as a performance suspended between darkness and metamorphosis, where dreamlike visions intertwine with partisan memories. The visual identity translates this ambivalent atmosphere into an invitation to cross the threshold of Hypnos’ palace and immerse oneself in a collective landscape of dreams, struggle, and sweet disobedience. Layered imagery echoing the performance’s exploration of memory and transformation. PANORAMA SUISSE – The new identity for Panorama Suisse reflects the programme’s mission to showcase contemporary Swiss cinema within an international context. Developed for the collaboration between the Festival del film Locarno, the Solothurn Film Festival, and SWISS FILMS, the design translates the concept of a national “window” into a bold, modular system.
