Monthaven Arts & Cultural Center and MTSU’s Charlie and Hazel Daniels Veterans and Military Family Center share a commitment to honoring military service through the transformative power of art. Their ongoing partnership brings meaningful exhibitions featuring veterans work to the MTSU campus, inviting students, veterans, military families and the wider community to explore stories of service, sacrifice, healing and hope. The latest installation, “Bright Yesterdays,” featuring painter and military veteran Sam Dye, continues this tradition. Through these exhibitions, Monthaven’s Between the Lines program and the Daniels Center preserve veterans’ stories, encourage understanding across generations and provide a platform for creative expression. Together, they demonstrate how art can honor the past, strengthen community and create pathways toward connection and healing. Congratulations to @sam_dye_art on a great event last week. The exhibit is on view at the @mtdanielscenter until November 30th. #themacc #mtsu #veterans #military #militaryartist by @monthavenarts
