We had an absolute blast bringing the adrenaline to life in this hard-hitting Samsung S25 Ultra spot, featuring the industry’s top stunt performers. Showcasing the incredible talents of the stunt community on Hollywood’s biggest night was an honor—what better stage than the Oscars? Kudos to Samsung for trusting the stunt world and the amazing creatives to deliver an unforgettable spot. #Oscars #AdStunt Huge thanks to the whole crew, who on a tight deadline made this happen. Back in June 2025, I got an incredible email from the assistant for Chris Russell, the VP of Postproduction at Marvel Studios wanting to set up a meeting. They had gotten my contact from Destin Daniel Cretton, who was directing the upcoming Spider-Man “Brand New Day.” I was in hardcore pre-pro on an upcoming short film that I was directing the next week, but of course I dropped everything to meet. The next day I met on the Disney lot in Burbank — in the Marvel Studios office with Chris Russell and Mitch Bell, VP of physical production at Marvel Studios. It was incredible meeting these two legends and being able to share my backstory on storytelling and how I can help support the filmmaking process. ‹Months went by and I was getting these amazing phone calls from producer Rachel O’Conner, and going through the process of being introduced to all of these talented individuals at Sony. —— I’m so proud of the interviews we got in Tokyo, interviewing the creator of Naruto, Kishimoto-san, who is incredibly elusive and really hasn’t done any sit down interviews before this. He shared his love for Spider-Man, how it influenced his life and Naruto, and of course, how much of a fan he is of Destin Daniel Cretton. Additionally, we interviewed Junya-san, the voice actor of Tom Holland (going back to Homecoming), and Takemi-san, giving inspiration to children in Ginza, Japan. We also shot these incredible interviews with Destin, Nathan Kim (choreographer), and cinematographer Brett Pawlak, getting an inside look into the making of Spider-Man “Brand New Day.” Domo Destin @destindaniel for trusting me with your vision and throwing my hat in the ring for “Generations: The Evolution of Spider-Man.” You are an incredible supporter of upcoming artists 🙏 ‹Thank you Kishimoto-san, Junya, Takemi, Brett Pawlak @brettsbo and Nathan Kim @n8thankim for speaking from the heart and sharing your stories with us. And thank you Rachel O’Conner, Chris Russell, Mitch Bell, and thank you thank you Derek Mihalik @djm5013 and Joe Burg at Sony. And of course our edito who put in timeless hours, Nicole Vaskall, sound mix @ddotpost & color @nathanpenacolorist Now streaming on Disney+ Direc by @moremedia

Producing content with some of the best stunt people in the world is a great feeling and a huge luxury, and that is what we had when we made the Samsung S25 Ultra spot for the Oscars. Big shout out to the “Descender Rig Master” @iamkurtlott & Stunt Coordinator @Chrisdenison for keeping the performers safe on the 184 foot high leap! Truely honored to be part of such an epic stunt commercial campaign that aired during the Oscar’s with OG guest stars @actionjackgill and @mikemassa1x This was shot practically in Miami and the Dominican Republic, and as always, nothing is ever simple or straight forward
it came with challenging wind conditions, clouds, weird landing areas and the ocean as a ‘oh fuck the winds really changed’ bail out option. The crew and cast quickly realized that they had to stop asking ‘where are you going to land’ as our response was always ‘we don’t know until we open our parachutes’ and they got sick of hearing ‘depends on the winds’ lol. Can’t wait to share more bts footage of hitching so many skid rides with the one and only pilot @fred_north who only gets encouraged to do more maneuvers when he sees me laughing. I have sooooo many people to thank. Firstly the one and only @kathleenswanson who created this whole campaign and was the driving force behind it all. Shout to her partner in crime @piercethiot who worked tirelessly alongside her. Thank you to the most chill producer @stephen_buchanan @moremedia and director @chrisdenison and stunt coordinator @imkurtlott - you ran a set in an exemplary way, nothing but safe, chill, efficient, communicative and fun vibes. I wasn’t doing this without the best of the best @craigobrienphotography on freefall camera, and @mikeswansons @jondevore and @apexbase #toddshoebotham on safety, rigging, advisory, and funniest stories ever team. Thank you to @ericjfrazier and @littlebitofmicah for creating the massive water cannon effects (DO NOT LAND ON THESE!) and the biggest shout out to the most efficient water safety team @bolivarsanchezm @luis_benitez_rb @riskybusinessllc #marianopalenzuela - I never had to worry about a water landing, you guys were so on it ALL THE TIME. Thanks to @artiemalesci for the pool space to rehearse and the best old school stories ever. Lastly, thank you to my home from home @skydive_perris @brodskychenfeld and @scottsmith6006 for always having my back. @carnival by @moremedia
