CAPTIVE. โ›“๏ธ๐Ÿฆ‹ | DISTRICT OF NEXUS Mannequin dolls. An uprising. Butterflies caught between captivity and freedom. A story of breaking free, only to find ourselves trapped again. One story. COME BACK ERA, PART DOS โค๏ธโ€๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿฝ Felt SO good. And honestlyโ€ฆ so healing. ๐Ÿฅนโœจ I almost forgot how incredible the stage, the crowd and that post-performance energy feels. Being back up there was everything ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿฝ ๐Ÿ”ฅ And this crew!? Absolute dream team. ๐Ÿ’œ Everyone worked SO hard, showed up, lifted each other up, brought the good vibes and had so much fun doing it. We genuinely didn't want it to end! ๐Ÿฅน๐Ÿงก We did it for each other, for community and because we bloody LOVE to dance. ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿฝโœจ Huge shoutout to sis @oceanadamson ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿฝ Thank you for the inspiration, the moves, and for always bringing your focus and care to every single one of us. You are truly such a genuine soul. โค๏ธ And to the ones who were there for me through injury, comeback and everything in between: thank you. I saw you. I felt it. And I'll never forget it. ๐Ÿงก Sometimes you really do learn who your people are when life gets a little messy. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Comeback season continues... ๐ŸŽฌ๐Ÿ”ฅ Reunion show, let's GO! ๐Ÿ˜‰ ๐ŸŽ‰ by @morenitalush
Come train with me at Training Day Clayton. ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ”ฅ Iโ€™ve been training weights for the last year and a half to build strength for dance, build muscle and boost my body tone. ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿฝ From weights + cardio to choreography days, I love having a space where I can train hard and recover properly. And the compression boots? An absolute game changer for these legs. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿฆต๐Ÿฝ Training + recovery, all in one place. โค๏ธโ€๐Ÿ”ฅ FREE 7-day trial for new members! ๐Ÿ‘€ ***Paid partnership with @trainingdaygymclayton *** #fitspo #DancershwhoLift #WeightsTraining #MovementMedicine #TrainingDayGym by @morenitalush
This wasnโ€™t just a showcase... This was a comeback. โค๏ธโ€๐Ÿ”ฅ After everything, especially my ankle saga, getting back on that stage and dancing my heart out meant so much more than just performing. These past 8 weeks challenged me mentally, physically and emotionally, and Iโ€™m so proud of the woman and dancer who kept showing up. ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿฝ Our piece, โ€œCaptive,โ€ explored what holds us captive in life: our minds, people, fear, and the boundaries we allow to be crossed. And after 8 weeks of being Captiveโ€ฆ I think I finally broke free. ๐Ÿ˜‚โค๏ธโ€๐Ÿ”ฅ Also, the stripes were intentional. ๐Ÿ˜‚โ›“๏ธ We were only missing the handcuffs because apparently they werenโ€™t exactly compatible with floorwork. ๐Ÿ˜‚ So grateful to @Pattichibi for creating such a beautiful and meaningful piece, to the incredible boss babes I shared this journey with, and especially to the friends who showed up for me. ๐Ÿฅน๐Ÿฉท Seeing your faces out there, knowing you came to cheer me on, genuinely meant so much. ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’œ And shoutout to @Adelejoanw & the @studio107dance team for giving us the platform to connect, create and share. ๐Ÿ–ค Hereโ€™s to continuing to dance, grow, break boundaries and show up. ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ”ฅ #HeelsDance #StageComeback #Captive #DanceJourney #QueenEnergy by @morenitalush
Eight years today. ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’š Not a day goes by that I don't think of you, or that something doesn't remind me of you. Eight years feels like both a lifetime and yesterday. I'm a very different person today than I was when we took these photos, but one thing has never changed... I still carry you with me every single day. Thank you for loving me the best way you knew how. Thank you for your sacrifices, your laughter, your guidance, and the many lessons you left in my heart. I'll always be grateful to have called you my Dad. I wish I could hug you one more time, but I know your love and your legacy continue to live on through me. In the way I love others, the way I keep getting back up, and the way I choose to live my life. I hope I'm making you proud. Forever missed. Forever in my heart. Until we meet again, ๐Ÿ•Š Love you always, mi Papito. โค๏ธ by @morenitalush
