If you’ve been following along, you’ve already done the setup. You audited your page. You cleaned up your profile. Now the real question is… where do you actually start? Part one of Marketing Seriously is all about knowing your audience and posting with them in mind! This isn’t to put strict limitations on what you can post. This is so you’re thinking as a creative with strategy. If your goal is to reach who you’ve been called to reach, then tailoring your strategy to intentionally target your audience is key. Leave in the comments what platform you’re focusing on! Happy posting! by @moretheagency

Oh. 🌚 It’s not a coincidence that you suddenly don’t want to post. You spent all of January preparing. You spent February comparing. And now it’s March and you’re saying “I’ll wait until second quarter.” What I’m learning is fear does not remove responsibility. If anything, fear is a distraction that keeps the enemy comfortable, in his bed, and rubbing his feet together, because he’s no longer threatened by you. So here’s what you’re going to do‼️ - If you have something edited that you just haven’t posted, post it in the next 72 hours. If it absolutely needs editing, spend ONE hour editing. Take the next step. Someone is waiting on the other side of your obedience. Happy posting! by @moretheagency
Thank you 🤭 Whatever’s distracting you is working toooooo well… respectfully🌚 Happy posting! by @moretheagency
✨DISCLAIMER: Long caption with audit steps inside: The last month of Q1 is HERE. Before you worry about posting 3x a week… let’s audit your page. 1. Pick ONE profile. Different platforms = different audiences. Audit them separately. Strategy is platform-specific. 2. Your WHY. Why are you posting in this season? – To get clients? – To build authority as a creative? – To grow awareness? – To sell a product? – To position yourself for partnerships? Your goal might not be the same as last year… and that matters. This “why” is what determines if that random birthday post stays… or gets archived. 3. Your ideal client. Who are you trying to attract? – Someone with a problem only you can solve? – Someone who needs encouragement? – Someone who needs education? – Someone who needs entertainment? If you don’t know who it’s for, your page will feel confusing. Once you have these three, now we EDIT✨ 1. Your Instagram name: If “princessgirl123” is your handle but you’re positioning yourself as a luxe interior designer… let’s adjust that. Make it easy to identify you by: – Your name – The name you want to be called – The talent or craft your page represents 2. Your bio: Your bio should quickly answer: – Who do you serve? – What do you offer? – Who is it for? – Where (optional)? – How can someone contact or work with you? If you have other platforms that support your expertise or other ways your audience can interact with you, include those links! 3. Highlights (Instagram only): If you post valuable content on stories, organize it. Give people a place to quickly access your FAQs, services, testimonials, or key information. 4. Your squares (posts): Now it’s time to audit your grid. Don’t go archive-crazy. But ask yourself: Does this align with my current why? Does this serve my ideal client? Does this support the goal of my page? Family photos may make sense. Vacation recaps may make sense. But only if they support your strategy. When your ideal audience lands on your page, ask yourself: Is this beneficial to them and aligned with where I’m going? Happy auditing!!!🤗 #socialmediaaudit #marketingforcreatives by @moretheagency
Your audience might not need “more content.” They might just need more clarity. If you’re a creative who’s rebranding, optimizing your page for strategy or want your page to work for you, ask yourself: - What is the goal of your page? Are you selling something? Building community? Positioning yourself as an expert? When you post, what do you actually want to happen? - Can someone tell what you do just by your name and title? - Do your posts reflect the skills you want to be known for or just what feels easy to share? - Is it clear who you serve? - Is there a clear way to work with you, contact you, or learn more? Your profile shouldn’t make people guess. It should guide them. If your page feels busy but not intentional… it might be time to realign your strategy. ✨ by @moretheagency
Creatives… It’s time to post! No more waiting or second guessing. There is someone attached to your obedience! Happy posting :) #socialmediatips #marketingforcreatives by @moretheagency
Creative, it’s February. If you’re still feeling lost on how to mark yourself, start here. Step 1: Conduct an Audit. Take a deep dive into your current online presence. Make sure your page truly reflects who you are as a creative—your craft, your medium, and your ideal audience. Ask Yourself: • Is it time to refresh or even start anew with your page? • What can an audit reveal about your current strategy? This audit is the first step toward clarity and growth. Let’s refine and elevate your creative brand together! #marketingagency #marketingforcreatives by @moretheagency

7 months into running social media full time for clients, here’s what I’ve learned: 1. Onboarding sets the tone. Rushing into posting before defining voice, templates, and content pillars wrecks the approval process. Nail this first. 2. Define your role early. Are you the strategist or just the content editor? Your client’s knowledge and expectations will tell you. If you don’t clarify, you’ll end up doing both—and probably burning out. 3. Lead with humility, not perfection. If something isn’t fully refined yet, be honest and stay in integrity. Clients trust transparency more than forced perfection. Growth comes from doing your best and being honest. There are less than 150 days left in 2025. Make the January version of you proud. Keep showing up. Keep refining. It’s working. by @moretheagency

Not sure where to start with content planning, recording, editing, or posting? Try this beginner-friendly approach using events already on your calendar — perfect for any niche but specifically speakers, coaches, and consultants: 1. List your next 30 days of events, virtual meetings, or milestones. 2. Record your prep process — setting up, practicing, researching, etc. It gives your audience a behind-the-scenes look at how you operate. Even if you don’t have events, showing your process still builds credibility and grabs the attention of your ideal client. Don’t forget to infuse YOUR unique personality and process into this, that’s what makes you stand out. 3. Break it up: One day to record, one to edit, one to schedule. Avoid burnout by batching just a week at a time to start. 4. Follow this for 30-45 days consistently, building an organic audience who is bought into your process. After that? Rinse and repeat with other content types. This method helps you stay consistent, build credibility, and attract aligned clients — by showcasing your process, NOT perfection. Don’t wait, start now! Your audience is waiting :) - Welcome to More The Agency, where we do the parts of marketing you don’t love, so you can stay focused on the work you were called to do.
