This is Alex. A personable and particular, Plastic, Reconstructive and Cosmetic Surgeon.

Alex was drawn to plastic surgery because of its unique blend of science, artistry and problem-solving. For him, no procedure is ever the same, and the specialty offers endless opportunities to refine, improve and innovate.

With expertise across breast and body surgery, breast reconstruction, and body contouring after weight loss, Alex focuses on creating tailored solutions for each patient, taking the time to get to know his patients and understand their individual needs and goals.

Over the course of his career, Alex has led the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Bendigo Health, contributed to national task forces to improve rural and regional care, and completed a PhD investigating new treatments for scarring — work that earned him multiple RACS and NHMRC fellowships and scholarships.

Dr Cameron holds public appointments at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Flinders Medical Centre, and runs his private practice from Morphē in North Adelaide.

This is George. Our relaxed, approachable and very determined surgeon (he’s also our Founder).

Unsurprisingly, George’s passion lies in performing surgery and supporting people to improve their health and quality of life. He is highly experienced in weight loss surgery, reflux surgery, and other general surgical procedures.

For George, surgery is not only about technical skill but also about guiding patients through their journey — whether that’s achieving weight loss goals, finding relief from reflux, or addressing other surgical concerns. His focus is always on combining safe, effective surgery with compassionate, personalised care. Though he views surgery as a huge responsibility, he also sees it as a great honour when people place their trust in his care.

George was drawn to surgery early in his medical career through exceptional surgical mentors who showed him the rapid ability of surgery to affect positive change in people’s health and wellbeing.

As Breast Cancer Awareness Month comes to an end, a reminder that breast awareness matters all year round, and breast awareness starts with you.

Get to know what’s normal with your breasts and to pay attention to any changes.

From a new lump to changes in the skin, breast shape or nipples, knowing what to look for can help you recognise when it’s time to seek medical advice.

And an important reminder: breast cancer can affect men, too. While less common, it’s important for everyone to feel comfortable speaking with their GP about unusual breast changes.

Breast awareness doesn’t replace recommended screening, and you don’t need to follow a complicated self-check routine. Simply knowing what’s normal for you is a great place to start.

If you notice a new or unusual change, don’t ignore it. Speak with your GP promptly 🤍.

$Why don’t we always reshare patient posts? We genuinely appreciate every kind message, tag and reflection shared with us. However, as a healthcare practice, Morphē must follow the advertising requirements that apply to regulated health services. When a patient post refers to a practitioner, treatment, clinical experience or outcome, resharing it from our account may constitute the use of a testimonial in healthcare advertising - even when the post is genuine and shared willingly. Patients are absolutely free to share their own experiences. We may simply be unable to republish or promote that content through the Morphē account. This is part of how we protect patient privacy, communicate responsibly and avoid creating expectations that another person will experience the same outcome. So, if we don’t reshare your post or story, please know it’s not because we haven’t seen it or don’t appreciate it. Your thoughtful words are seen, valued and always appreciated 🤍 #morpheclinic @drgeorgebalalis @drbeumerbariatricsurgeon @dralexcameronfracs by @morpheclinic$

These flowers were especially for our admin team—and honestly, that means so much. 🤍

With busy phones, appointments to coordinate and enquiries to answer, there is always so much happening behind the scenes.

Today, a patient recognised our admin team specifically with this beautiful gesture. Thank you for making them feel so appreciated.

And to our admin team—thank you for everything you do. 🤍 by @morpheclinic

Good care considers the whole person. 🤍

This Allied Health Professions Day, we recognise Jennifer and Kahlia, our dietitians; Kellyann and Sharon, our clinical psychologists; and Rachel, our exercise physiologist.

Through nutrition, psychological support and movement, they make a valued contribution to our patients’ health, wellbeing and recovery.

Thank you for the expertise, compassion and thoughtful care you bring to Morphē every day.

Love what you eat 🤍

For National Nutrition Week, Dietitian Kahlia is helping us celebrate the many reasons there are to love food - because food is so much more than the nutrients it provides.

Food connects us to culture, community and each other. It can bring joy, spark curiosity, create memories and bring people together around the table.

And if you know Kahlia, you’ll know she is a passionate foodie. Her enthusiasm for food and nutrition is infectious, inspiring not only her patients, but her colleagues, friends and family too.

As a dietitian, Kahlia cares deeply about nutrition and the important role it plays in our health. But she also recognises that healthy eating isn’t just about what food provides our bodies - it’s about creating a way of eating that fits into, and adds to, our lives.

So this National Nutrition Week, we’re celebrating everything that makes food more than just its nutrients - connection, enjoyment, culture, celebration and memories. 🤍

World Mental Health Day is an opportunity to pause and reflect on the importance of mental health, wellbeing and connection.

Connection can take many forms—a conversation with a colleague, time with family or friends, or feeling part of a community.

Everyday acts of care, kindness and listening can help us feel supported and less alone.

At Morphē, we value a safe workplace.

Caring for our people is part of caring for our patients🤍.

Supporting health and healing, every step of the way 🤍

Our dietitians, Kahlia and Jen, provide personalised nutrition care to support our patients’ journeys - whether that involves weight management, body contouring or general health and wellbeing.

From dietary intake and everyday eating habits to reviewing micronutrient blood results and providing evidence-based guidance on vitamins and supplements, their advice is tailored to each patient’s needs.

Our InBody 970S body composition scans also help inform this care and track changes over time.

Working alongside our surgical and clinical team, they help patients optimise their health, prepare for surgery, navigate recovery and care for their long-term health.
