There’s a reason the right upholstery doesn’t have to fight for attention.

The Linda Sofa by Moss Home in Fargo Oatmeal gives this room exactly what it needs: warmth, scale, and a quiet foundation that lets the architecture and the rest of the space do their thing.

Earlier this summer, we were lucky enough to spend the day inside the Moss Home factory in Los Angeles. 35 years in business and still family run, Moss Home has 500 frames and 700 fabrics to choose from.

We wanted to ask John the questions a designer would ask (if she had a free day to go to LA!) How do the frames get built? Where does the fabric come from? How do we know they have our back when something goes wrong?

And that is exactly why we’re in the room. We go see how it’s made so you don’t have to. We meet the family, walk the floor, and watch the work happen before anything earns a place on ours. That way, our clients get the answers without the trip.

That’s the Allumette Standard. by @mosshomeusa
