Santana: Hello?
Me: So listen, I have an idea. Actually, I have about 15 ideas. 😂

We need bigger deals, more giveaways, and more ways to give back to the community.

Stay tuned because Mott Haven Spirits is about to get a little out of control over the next couple of weeks.

Episode 8 of Last Call at Mott Haven Spirits.

For this episode, @imnotarapperrrr brings us a performance of “2829,” a song rooted in the Bronx and the memories that shaped her love for music.
Named after the Sedgwick Avenue building where her grandmother lived, “2829” takes us back to where her love for hip-hop really started watching 106 & Park, studying the culture, going to school nearby, and dreaming about one day being on that screen with the artists she looked up to.
Now she’s not just watching the culture. She’s becoming part of it.
And as she puts it, everybody wants to be part of the story now… but you gotta pay for that.

EPISODE 7

LAST CALL AT MOTT HAVEN SPIRITS
Behind every song is a story. In Episode 7, @_riott_ opens up about the inspiration behind “Good Flirts” and the reality of navigating relationships, networking, and nightlife as an artist.
Sometimes a conversation with a stranger can become a connection that changes everything. The right people can open doors, believe in you, and help you grow. But not every connection is genuine.
Riot shares a powerful reminder: build relationships, but stay aware of intentions. Not everyone who knows your artist name knows your story, your struggles, or what it took to get there.
The nightlife can introduce you to amazing people but staying focused on the bigger goal means knowing who deserves access to you.
Episode 7 is about connections, discernment, and protecting the vision. #bronx #hiphop #micdrop #alcohol #wine by @motthavenspirits

EPISODE 5

For our final August feature, we asked @augustusisntreal what inspired his song “Long Nights.”
Inspired by a night out with friends, the song came from a beat that sparked a story he wanted people to connect with while bringing back that feeling of nostalgia.
Some nights become memories. Some songs bring you right back to them.

EPISODE 4

Last Call is back with Episode 4, featuring @brandonbills_ performing Americano.
Last Call was created to give artists a completely different kind of performance experience. Instead of a traditional stage and a room full of people, we create an intimate setting where the artist can focus on the music and connect with the performance in a more personal way.
It’s just the artist, the music, me, and the videographer. No big crowd. No distractions. Just authentic performances captured with intention and high-quality visuals.
Every episode gives us the opportunity to introduce a different artist, a different sound, and a different story.
This time, Brandon Bills takes the Last Call stage with Americano. by @motthavenspirits

EPISODE 1 OF LAST CALL IS OFFICIALLY LIVE.
I couldn’t think of a better artist to launch this series than Drama B. If you’ve been paying attention, you’ve probably seen him perform at Madison Square Garden or heard his music without even realizing it. Over the years, Drama B has built an incredible career as an independent artist, amassing more than 1 billion streams, landing music in major Netflix productions, and earning placements with the NBA and MLS. That’s the kind of resume most artists spend a lifetime chasing. But what makes Drama B stand out isn’t just the numbers it’s his versatility, consistency, and dedication to the craft. Whether he’s creating records that reach audiences around the world or bringing it back to the essence of hip-hop, he approaches every track with purpose. His recent releases have reminded people exactly why authentic lyricism and storytelling still matter. That’s exactly why I wanted him to be the first artist to step up to the mic for Last Call at Mott Haven Spirits. For our debut episode, Drama B performs “Where I’m From,” a powerful record that represents the Bronx and the culture that continues to shape his sound. It’s raw, honest, and the perfect way to introduce what this series is all about.
This isn’t just another performance series. Last Call is about creating a space where artists can connect with people through live music in an intimate setting no filters, no distractions, just talent.
Thank you, Drama B, for helping me bring this vision to life and for setting the bar high from day one.
Episode 1 is streaming now. Go show some love to @dramabmusic, and stay tuned because we’re only getting started.
