Grounded in the realities of current social issues such as homelessness and precarious employment. SHYM -Yasmine Belaazia, Hajar Belhassan, Mouad Abatourab- a Settat-based directing, cinematography, and producing trio formed through the 48 Hour Film Project. Driven by a shared interest in merging their different artistic backgrounds under a single high-pressure objective, the group focuses on collaborative chemistry and rapid filmmaking as a way to create direct, emotionally charged storytelling. Come and see SHYM’s short film that follows a real estate agent attempting to close a deal before his day is abruptly interrupted, forcing him into a moment of painful self-realisation. The film pares its story back to the essentials, using pressure, rhythm, and performance to examine social instability, precarious employment, and the fragility of personal circumstance. Thursday 21st May | 7:00 PM The American Arts Centre, Casablanca RSVP for catering – link in bio Reflections is a one-night screening and discussion event showcasing digital and video-based practices—from video art and digital storytelling to experimental film. After winning the Tremplin L'Boulevard 2024, we were given the incredible opportunity to record a single at Studio Hiba, one of the biggest and most prestigious studios in the country. This track is something new, something different, not part of our album, and it's called ,,Where the Stars Whisper“. The experience was intense, inspiring, and unforgettable. We want to extend our deepest gratitude to @lboulevard_festival , @boultek , @fondationhiba , and the amazing team at @studiohiba for believing in us and making this possible. Your support fuels the flame. 🖤 🎥 Here’s a glimpse into that journey. Flip the phone and enjoy... "Pleased to be a part of the Tremplin @lboulevard_festival 22nd edition (2024) experience, and present both local and black metal scene at it finest. As the first time - we Pagan Ulver - appear on stage and perform our set, along side with local and international bands, is really something memorial. We dedicate the win of the 1st prize to our dear fans whom like our second family to us, without you we wouldn't achieve this! Embarking on a sonic journey with my latest musical creation, "Shadow." 🌌 This composition draws My inspiration from the mesmerizing sound waves of nature 🍃🌊 , weaving a tapestry of melodies that mirror the harmonies found in the world around us. I discovered the profound idea that sound, like light, casts its own shadow. Each note becomes a silhouette, an echo of emotions, and a reflection of the unseen depths within our souls. "Shadow" is more than just a song; it's a musical exploration of the hidden nuances that dance within the interplay of sound and silence. Join me in this auditory adventure, where the ethereal shadows of music intertwine with the natural symphony of life.
