We’re Parkway Coffee Roasters, a family-owned, small-batch roastery rooted in the High Country of North Carolina. We’re proud to source ethically grown beans and roast every batch with care and intention from our home base in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Swipe ➡️ to learn more about the heart behind each blend.

Parkway Coffee is crafted to be part of your mountain moments, whether you’re a local or a visitor here for ski season, leaf-peeping, or summer fun. Our passion goes beyond the cup: crafting coffee that inspires community and connects us all to this place... and each other.

This is coffee for the High Country. Roasted with care, shared with gratitude.

Before there was Parkway Coffee Roasters, there was Mountain Grounds Coffee & Tea Co. ☕

Serving our neighbors here in Avery County taught us that a great cup of coffee isn’t just about what’s in the mug; it’s about the conversations across the counter and the community it nurtures.

That local connection inspired us to launch Parkway Coffee: a way to share mountain hospitality far beyond the High Country, connecting neighbors, travelers, and coffee lovers, no matter where they call home.

For us, every cup of Parkway Coffee is a tangible way of connecting people to this place, and most importantly, to each other.

Much like the Blue Ridge Parkway, the story of Parkway Coffee Roasters is full of twists and turns... but our journey sure has been beautiful. ⛰️

Trading corporate careers in banking and engineering for life in the Blue Ridge Mountains wasn’t originally in our plans. However, after setting down roots in Avery County and taking the reins at @mountaingroundsnc, a bigger dream began to take shape: a way to multiply our impact in our community while building a lasting legacy for our family.

Pairing our passion for community and our entrepreneurial drive with formal roasting training and years of hands-on cafe experience, Parkway Coffee Roasters was born.

Something new is brewing... say hello to coffee crafted where the Parkway runs. ☕

Parkway Coffee Roasters was born in the High Country of North Carolina, where mountain mornings are cool, the pace is slower, and the ritual of an exceptional cup of coffee can set the tone for the entire day.

With each cup we invite you to sip slow, stay a while, and take a taste of mountain memories with you when you go. ⛰️

We hope you’ll follow along and join us for the drive, not the rush.
