STILL HUNTING 🐾🏀

Coach Kai Hardy returns to the Den as Associate Head Coach of the Mount Carmel Men’s Basketball program.

A Baltimore native and Mount Carmel alumnus, Coach Kai joined the coaching staff in January 2024 after spending two seasons as the Head Junior Varsity Coach at Yeshiva Mekor Chaim.

During the 2024–25 season, Coach Kai took over the Mount Carmel JV program and helped lead the Cougars through a successful campaign. His leadership and impact on the program earned him a promotion to Associate Head Coach ahead of the 2025–26 season.

Now entering another season in the Den, Coach Kai continues to bring his experience, leadership, and pride in Mount Carmel to the next generation of Cougars.

Once a Cougar, always a Cougar. Still Hunting. 🐾 by @mountcarmelmbb

STILL HUNTING 🐾

Coach Kadeem Jackson enters his third season with the Mount Carmel Basketball program, bringing 13 years of U.S. Army service and a passion for leadership, mentorship, and serving others.

Jackson found his passion for coaching in 2016 while stationed at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, where he began coaching in the U.S. Armed Forces Basketball League. Upon returning home, that passion followed him back to West Baltimore, where he coached and mentored young athletes at Bentalou Recreation Center before ultimately joining the Mount Carmel program.

Over the past three seasons, Jackson has continued to learn and grow under longtime Head Coach Tony Martin while contributing to Mount Carmel’s winning tradition. Still hunting, his focus remains on continuing that growth, developing young men, and helping the Cougars compete for more championships.

For Kadeem, coaching is another form of service. His approach is rooted in discipline, trust, leadership, and service to others using basketball as a vehicle to mentor young men and give back to the community that helped shape him.
