🍦🐾 ICE CREAM STROLL + PUP WALK! 🐾🍦

This Sunday, Earl’s Bakehouse is joining the Mount Dora Ice Cream Stroll & Pup Walk in Downtown Mount Dora! 🤍

I’ve been busy making 200 individually packaged Earl’s Bakehouse all-natural dog treats that I’m donating to participating businesses around Downtown Mount Dora to hand out to all the pups making their way through the Pup Walk! 🐶

We’ll have 6 different flavors in some extra-fun shapes — 🍦 ice cream cones, 🦴 bones stamped with Earl’s Bakehouse, 🎃 spooky Halloween shapes, and of course… 🐒 some little Mount Dora monkeys!

PLEASE check the ingredient label on the back of your pup’s treat before feeding if they have any food allergies or sensitivities. Every individual bag is labeled so you know exactly what your pup is getting. ❤️

Mount Dora has a lighthouse.

There is, notably, no ocean.

And it turns out our little red-and-white landmark wasn’t built just for the photos.

It dates to 1988, when the idea emerged after a boater had trouble finding his way back to Mount Dora after dark. Nearly four decades later, it’s one of the most recognizable sights on Lake Dora — and its beacon still serves an actual purpose.

There’s a little garden experience blooming on County Road 19A.

This week, we officially welcomed Nature Blooms Garden Boutique to the Mount Dora Area Chamber with a ribbon cutting — but this is much more than a garden shop.

The owners behind Nature Blooms have created a space built around a love of gardening, nature and making beautiful things. Step inside for gardening finds and DIY terrariums, then head out back to a working garden where visitors can actually harvest fresh herbs and vegetables.

Nature Blooms is also becoming a place to gather and create, with terrarium parties, workshops and special events that bring gardening, art and community together.
