Joseph Pilates’ original 34 Mat exercises from Return to Life Through Contrology — plus a little extra side bending. 😉 No equipment, just an intelligently designed sequence that builds strength, mobility, control, and connection. The classics are classics for a reason! A big thank you to Mary for beautifully demoing the full series for us! 🤍 Mary is a Nurse Anesthetist with her doctorate and a longtime Pilates lover who returned to the practice in 2023 looking to add more strength to her routine. We’re so thrilled she makes the drive from Old City every Saturday — you may have spotted her sitting outside in the sun before class with a cup of coffee and a book. ☕️📖 For Mary, the biggest benefit has been so much more than physical strength: “I not only feel strong and capable, but seeing my friends every week, laughing with one another and encouraging one another is priceless.” Her favorite is Advanced Tower, especially the combination of classical advanced Mat work, strength, and inversions. And possibly the biggest Pilates perk? After being 5’3” and change since eighth grade, Mary is now officially 5’4”. 😂🤍 _ #matpilates #classicalpilates #advancedpilates @alo by @move_with_mary5
