Sunday 13th September❕Foot flexibility and strengthening workshop✨

We’ll be focusing on exercises and stretches to help improve the foot line and gain stronger foundations in both the arches and toes.
The feet are the start of everything, from plies to pointe work so let’s get working them! Pointey toes don’t just happen over night, they take consistency and focus so lots of the workshop exercises can then be transferred to home practice 🤩

Open to all 🥳

📍Freedom Performing Arts, Knaresborough
⏰ Sunday 13th September, 10-11am, £12
🩰 Bring your own theraband and yoga block if you have!

Summer time 🌞🩰

Having such a beautiful time in the studio these past weeks! There is such joy and hard work present in all the students who have danced non-stop so far throughout the holidays 😎

As a very nervy kid myself, I’m in awe of how much confidence, kindness and intelligence I see from students in 1:1s and the individual growth is incredible ✨

I’ll soon by looking my 1:1 availability from September, so reach out if you’ve not already!

As always a big thank you to the studios who allow me to work with their students 🪩

Online private lessons starting September!
I’ve had lots of folk reach out to ask if this is an option so here we go 🥳 Ideal for those who want a little more training at home or are slotting in during their home schooling days 📚

Classes can be in ballet/contemporary technique, comp choreography, pointe prep/strengthening, solo coaching, general stretch and strengthening to aid ballet technique 🩰

So grateful to teach so many hard working students already supported by their home studios 🤩

Internal/External rotation! 🩰

Turnout using both inner thigh rotation (internal) and the glutes (external) is one of the biggest challenges we face in ballet class. Activating both to build strength is crucial!

Throughout classes we look at understanding, developing and refining our fundamentals! These are key the building blocks throughout training from beginner to professional which enable safe development, consistent progression, injury prevention and encourage a smart dancer ✨

Let’s talk about class focuses🩰

Throughout classes we look at understanding, developing and refining our fundamentals! These are key the building blocks throughout training from beginner to professional which enable safe development, consistent progression, injury prevention and encourage a smart dancer ✨

Turn out and alignment is one of the trickiest things to correctly active and utilise, using cups helps us to feel and see what we’re working towards!
