Presentation of the Legacy Ring to Liberia’s former President 🇱🇷, Dr. George Manneh Weah,
Africa’s first Ballon d’Or winner and a global football icon, in recognition of his remarkable achievements in football, politics, and leadership.

The prestigious ring was designed and presented by Mr. Samuel Koimene, (@mr_koimene )a private jeweler and entrepreneur, as a tribute to Dr. Weah’s enduring legacy and contributions.

This is more than a ring; it is a symbol of a legacy that has inspired generations and placed Liberia on the global stage. 🇱🇷💍

I had the honor of meeting one of my role models, His Excellency, former President George Manneh Weah. 🇱🇷

Africa’s Best. Europe’s Best. The World’s Best. Ballon d’Or Winner. Former President of Liberia.

A man whose greatness helped open doors for African footballers and inspired generations to believe that greatness can come from anywhere, even a small nation like Liberia.

Today reminded me of something powerful: Your gift can take you places your feet could never take you and put you in rooms with great men.

Too often, we overlook our own heroes, the very people who paved the way and made the world recognize where we come from.

⭐️Beyond politics, we must learn to recognize and celebrate those who have made history and inspired generations.⭐️

Why wait until our legends are gone to give them flowers? Give them their flowers while they can still see, smell, and feel them.

Thank you, George Manneh Weah, for what you have done for Liberia, Africa, and the generations you continue to inspire. 🇱🇷 by @mr_koimene

Last week was special.🇱🇷❤️
Had the honor of meeting and presenting a gift to the President of Liberia, Joseph Boakai.

Moments like this remind me why I do what I do — representing culture through craftsmanship. 🇱🇷

I can’t believe it’s 2026, and we’re still facing these problems in middle and high schools.

For many of us African immigrants who entered the American school system at a young age, it left painful memories of bullying and humiliation. We see ourselves in this young man, and many of us were just lucky that our experiences didn’t end like his. Some adults still carry that trauma today. I would have hoped that by now, we had paved a safer path for the next generation.

A father has lost his child and is now left with so many unanswered questions. Why did this happen? Could it have been prevented? Where did the system fail him?

Meanwhile, an entire community of African immigrants is reminded of wounds that never fully healed. I wish we talked more about the experiences of African children in the American school system. Our stories, our struggles, and the trauma many of us still carry into adulthood deserve more attention.

Our schools, parents, and justice system must do better. But when something like this happens, who do we blame? The child? The parents? The teachers? The principal? The school system? Or the justice system?

Mr. Thomas Frimpong, the African community stands with you and your family during this difficult moment of bereavement.

We feel your pain. We see ourselves in your son, and we pray that God gives you and your family strength.

Our actions must go beyond condolences. We must demand justice and accountability for your son.

RIP Javits. 💔🕊️

It’s 2026, and Africa still doesn’t have a permanent seat at the table where some of the world’s most important decisions are made.

A continent of more than 1.5 billion people still has no permanent representation on the United Nations Security Council.

Proud to see African leaders demanding a seat at the table and a stronger voice in global decision-making.

Africa’s future should not be decided without Africa.

“Eighty years of patience is enough. The time for structural reform is now.”
