A few days ago, I had the honour of receiving the indefatigable student leaders, alongside the incumbent Kings and Queens of my alma mater, the prestigious University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus.

It was a beautiful and humbling moment as they presented me with a recognition award in appreciation of my contributions and impact.

There’s a different kind of fulfilment that comes with being recognised by the very institution that shaped a part of who you are today. To return as an alumnus and be celebrated by the students and leaders of the community is something I do not take for granted.
This recognition is not just an award; it is a reminder that the things we do, the people we inspire, and the value we create can travel far beyond us.

To the student leaders, the royalties, and the entire UNN Enugu Campus community , thank you for the honour and for reminding me that the journey from being a student to becoming an inspiration to others is truly a beautiful one.
Forever grateful. Forever proud to be a UNN alumnus. 🦁🎓 by @mrandmissunec_official

Elegantly African✨💙💛🤍. Confidence in style✨ by @mrandmissunec_official

My caption is going to be long 😮‍💨.

This outfit is more than just something I wore; it represents a part of my journey.
When I put it on, I wasn't simply dressing up for an event. I was stepping into a version of myself that I had always wanted to explore — a woman who could express herself through fashion, culture and confidence.
The beads, the colours and the entire styling reminded me that fashion can tell a story without saying a single word. It can represent where we come from, who we are and even who we are becoming.
My journey into pageantry has also taught me that confidence is not about being the loudest person in the room. Sometimes, it is simply having the courage to stand there and allow people to see you.
Looking at this picture now, I see more than the outfit. I see a girl who is discovering herself, taking opportunities, trying new things and slowly becoming more comfortable with being seen.
For me, this outfit represents culture, confidence and growth — and that is why it will always mean more to me than just fashion. by @mrandmissunec_official

AND THEN… IT ENDS. 🥹❤️

One year. Countless events. Sleepless nights. Pressure. Sacrifices. But also memories I’ll carry for a lifetime.

From supporting faculty and departmental events, creating opportunities for students, Cupid’s Campus, The Elite Welcome, Mr & Miss UNEC, BME 5.0, the ₦100K Pre-Dinner Content Contest, Soundcity On Tour…

To finally closing the chapter with the 2026 SUG Dinner, Award & Pageantry Night.👑🏆

It was never just about events.
It was about service. It was about people. It was about leaving something behind.

I gave this office my all, and I’m grateful for every person who made the journey worth it.

We came. We served. We created. We left a mark.

Now, I can finally say…

Final lap. 🥂
Inner peace. ❤️
