Life comes for all of us. Scott McDowell was crossing a street in Northridge when he was hit by a car and woke up ten days later. He joins Working Class Audio for episode 611 to talk about the accident, recovering from a TBI, becoming a partner at Wally's Hydeout, and why every freelancer in California needs disability insurance before something happens.

@mrmcdowell was hit by a car that was going roughly 50mph on Tuesday while standing on a sidewalk in LA. He’s expected to make a full recovery (THANK THE UNIVERSE) but it’s going to be a long road. The list of injuries is extensive, surgery will be required on his ACL, and we won’t be able to go home to SF for quite some time (stairs!)

We’ve had so many amazing friends reach out to help, and some set up a go fund me to raise funds to assist with our out of pocket expenses that can’t be recovered (like hotel stays), rent, and other bills since it’s looking like Scott may not be able to work for many months. If you’re able to support or donate, every little bit helps. Sharing helps with the algorithm to bring the campaign to a larger audience, so please share 🙏

Our singer took her furious tits to a Grammy party! We're not nominated YET but Zoe got to strut around with two smokin' hot dates on her arm ;) our amazing producer and recording engineer @mrmcdowell and the incomperable @meganluby

The SF chapter of the recording academy threw a hell of a party that all went to support local music advocacy and a good time was had by all! We'll see if we can convince Zoe to bring that dress back for our Neck of the Woods show on 3/14 💃🏻

Studio session - One of my favorite things about becoming a producer, is the opportunity to work with local talent, and collectively, we can help each other achieve our dreams. Anyways, here’s a recent studio session with me and @jamielash1 @jamie.l.ou recording a new song for my upcoming project .Enjoy!

I’m so heartbroken reading the news about Rob. I regret not making it to more of his gigs while there was still time, I guess I took it for granted that the bay was blessed with his talent for so long. We only did a few recording projects over the years, but every one of them was a magical memory. Watching this video this morning is bringing tears to my eyes. So long Rob, you were loved by so many! by @mrmcdowell

Thank you so much to @sony and inviting me to join all these awesome music producers to share our experiences. #NAMMFam #NAMM by @mrmcdowell
