I ain’t teaching higher than 1st grade 😭 by @mrs.hanksclassroom

As a little girl, I never imagined myself here.✨
I didn’t think I was capable of teaching. I doubted my voice, my ability, and whether I was “enough.”
But through every obstacle, every struggle, and every moment I wanted to give up…I kept going.

To see my story shared on ABC6 is something I don’t take lightly. I’m beyond grateful for the opportunity to be seen, heard, and supported in this way.🥹

What means even more is the love !Especially from my scholars. I truly love them with my whole heart and want nothing but the absolute best for each and every one of them. The way they support me, encourage me, and show me love every single day reminds me why I chose this path.❤️

And to my followers and supporters 🥰✨THANK YOU. I truly wouldn’t have gotten this far without you. Your encouragement, messages, and belief in me have carried me through moments when I needed it most.✨

To the families, the community, and the people across the city where I work and all over the world who have found me through TikTok and continue to uplift me: thank you. You see the work. You see the care. You see the heart behind what I do.❤️❤️

This journey hasn’t been easy, but it has been purposeful. And moments like this remind me why I never stopped believing, even when it was hard.

Thank you to ABC6, to my scholars, and to everyone who continues to show up with love 🤍 by @mrs.hanksclassroom

I think that’s one of my biggest pet peeves. Don’t tell me no when I’m asking you to do something that’s going to make you smarter…. #mrshanks #comeagain #tryagain #gotit by @mrs.hanksclassroom

Do you implement feedback in the moment? 👀 #mrshanks #skills #kindergarten by @mrs.hanksclassroom

Lately, I’ve been learning that sometimes you have to pause, take a breath, and give yourself permission to reset. 🤎

Life comes with so many emotions, responsibilities, and unexpected changes. Sometimes we get so caught up in showing up for everyone else that we forget to check in with ourselves.

I’m learning that taking a break isn’t falling behind, starting over isn’t failing, and protecting your peace isn’t selfish. Sometimes the most important work you can do is the work happening within you.

Here’s your reminder to slow down, feel your feelings, listen to your body, and prioritize your inner health. You deserve the same love, patience, and care that you give to everyone else. ✨

Give yourself permission to reset. You’re allowed to grow at your own pace. 🤍

Scholars have to think of a word that starts with the /p/ sound! 🗣️🔤 Helping them connect letter sounds to real words builds phonemic awareness. 💡 #mrhanks #teachingontiktok #education by @mrs.hanksclassroom
