What do you mean he gave me beauty for ashes?!
What do you mean he turns sorrow to joy?!
What do you mean he gives double for trouble?!

His word says it; I believed it; I went through the fire, but let me tell you, friend, I came out without the smell of smoke all because of the God I serve!! When I surrendered my shame and my story to Him, He gave me a message in my mess; He turned my tragedy into triumph, and my recklessness into redemption.

I’m here to tell you, don’t give up on yourself.
Don’t discount what God can do for you and thru you.
Allow the test you’re in to become your testimony because He desires to speak to many others through the power of YOUR personal journey!! #faith #hope #dontstopbelieving #power #prayer #praise #testimony #Jesus #foryou #reels #aintthatthetruth #podcast #purpose #xo by @mrsbriwalker

I hope you’re giving yourself grace in this season🤍
It might feel like you aren’t exactly where you want to be, but gosh look at how far you’ve come🥹🫶🏽

There’s light at the end of the tunnel and within you💫 by @mrsbriwalker

1. I’m being honest with where I’m at. Honest with God. Honest with my husband. Even honest with my kids. Telling the truth about my current state is the fastest way I get to a more regulated place.

2. I’m identifying what’s contributing to my destruction. Have I scrolled too much? Have I been less present? Did I spend intentional time in His presence? Is my physical touch / QT love language running on E? Have I bitten off more than I can chew? I’m deciding where the drain is coming from.

3. Deciding if my spirit (inner man, my heart, the part of me that communicates with God), soul (my mind, will, & emotions), or body (my physical body that houses my soul and spirit) need the most immediate attention. Do I need to hit the gym or go on a walk? Do I need to ask my husband for half an hour and spend time praying in my room? Do I need a massage? Do I need girl time? Whatever it is, I make a decision and set time to do it.

Coming out of October for me feels like I’m coming out of the fire—but baby I serve a God who not only is in it with me—He won’t let me smell like smoke! Headed straight into my birthday month excited for what God is going to do in my life in this new season🫶🏽🍂🪴

She’s 18 today🥹 18. She’s all grown up.
I’ve had so many moments of reflection today. And the pages of my heart feels so sacred thinking back on the first 18 years of my firstborn’s life .. too sacred to share in this caption. So, for now, I’ll leave you with this sweet memory of her dancing around as a little little girl.. the little girl she’ll always be in my heart of hearts.. even though I know she has become the most beautiful young woman I always prayed she’d be.

Leah Nicole, I love you so much, Babygirl. Happy 18th Birthday to the daughter God knew I needed💕 by @mrsbriwalker

Little pieces of October🤎🍂

Trusting that God is in the details. Growing in my surrender to Him and His plan. Slowing down just enough to bask in the prayers I once prayed for. God is still good. by @mrsbriwalker

A few weeks back at Church, I got the honor to share in MSE which is our Middle School Experience. The series we’re covering was on “How to Be a Leader” .. identifying your gifts and talents .. and how those aspects of you will ultimately be the thing you use to build the Church and a life that God can use in your own sphere of influence.

I came across an old book I’d written in 5th grade 🤯🤩 that talked about my love for dance at such a young age. I was reminded of all the stages of life that movement, and rhythm, and dancing to the beat of my own drum showed up as a place where the leader within me was born and flourished because I was operating in my gifting.

I marvel at God and His faithfulness. He is always shaping us .. He is always giving us opportunities to rise to the leader within us — no titles required. He is always affirming the talents he’s sown into us; we just have to be willing to open our eyes and see what He is doing.

Grateful for the Lord’s hand in it all🤍 by @mrsbriwalker
