🌹 Missing You Rahstaneik 🌹
It’s been four weeks since I lost my son, and the pain doesn’t get easier. I miss him every second of every day. A mother’s love never ends, and though he’s no longer here with me, I feel him in my heart. I know he’s my guardian angel now, watching over me and our family.

Losing a child is something no mother should ever face, but I carry his love, his smile, his spirit with me always. I love you, son. Forever and always. 💔👼🏾🙏🏾💙😭

This past Saturday, we celebrated my son’s homegoing.
I miss him deeply, but I know he’s my guardian angel watching over us. I want to thank my entire family, friends, and his friends for the love and support you’ve shown. He was more than a son — he was a coach, a mentor, and a bright light in every room he entered.

At his school, he touched so many lives, always ready to inspire and encourage. Just like a coach blowing that whistle, he kept everyone moving forward with love, passion, and purpose.

I’m going to miss my baby every single day, but I know his spirit will continue to shine through all of us. Until we meet again, I’ll carry his love in my heart. ❤️#fuckcancer by @mrslashawn2u

My heart is shattered, and the pain is still so fresh. I miss my son more than words could ever say. I love him deeply, and I know he’s in a better place now… free from pain, surrounded by peace. His spirit is in the air, all around me, and I feel him with me every day. But oh, how I wish I could hear his voice, see his smile, and hug him again. I’m trying to stay strong, but the truth is—I just miss him so much. I love you forever, my son 💔🕊️👼🏾#fuckcancer 💛 by @mrslashawn2u

❤️ A Weekend Full of Emotions 🕊️
What an emotionally overwhelming weekend. I don’t even know where to begin. We celebrated my son Rahstaneik’s 36th heavenly birthday, which was bittersweet because celebrating without him physically here is still one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do. 💙
Then we attended a beautiful ceremony at Truist Park, where my son, Coach King, was honored with his jersey. A proud mommy moment that I will cherish forever. His legacy continues to live on. 👑
From there, we jumped on the road to Savannah to lay another loved one to rest. It was wonderful seeing my family, but I wish it had been under different circumstances. My heart goes out to all of us as we continue to navigate these losses.
Now that I’m finally back home, I can honestly say I am mentally, physically, and emotionally EXHAUSTED. Grief is not easy. Some days you smile, some days you cry, and some days you simply try to make it through.
One thing I do know is that we have some beautiful angels watching over our family now. 🕊️❤️
Lord, please continue to cover us, strengthen us, and give us peace through it all. I love my family dearly. Life is precious, and tomorrow is never promised.
I’m still standing, but Lord knows I’m tired. One day, one prayer, and one breath at a time. 🙏🏽💙

Today was truly a beautiful and emotional day. 🕊️💙 We gathered at Truist Park to honor my son, Coach Rahstaneik “Coach King” King, and the legacy he left behind.

Receiving his framed jersey meant more to me than words can explain. I was able to stand up and speak from my heart, thanking everyone who continues to remember my son, honor his work, and keep his name and legacy alive. He truly loved his kids, coaching, mentoring, and pouring into the next generation.

As his mother, there are no words for how much I miss him, but moments like today remind me that his life had purpose and his impact is still being felt. I know my baby was looking down from Heaven today, smiling. 👑🕊️

Thank you to everyone who made this special tribute possible. Coach King, your legacy lives on. Forever #34.💙🙏🏽

Today we celebrated my son Rahstaneik’s 36th heavenly birthday. 💙🕊️ It was something small and intimate, surrounded by love, family, and those who continue to keep his memory alive. Thank you so much to everyone who came out to celebrate with us, and to those who couldn’t make it, I completely understand. The love is still felt. ❤️

My son was truly loved, and he is truly missed every single day. We love you forever, Niek. Until we meet again. 👑💙🕊️

Today is my son Rahstaneik’s 36th birthday. 💚👑

At 12:07 p.m., 36 years ago today, I gave birth to my baby boy. I never imagined there would come a birthday when I wouldn’t be able to call you, hug you, see your smile, or celebrate with you here on earth.

Today is hard. I miss you more than words could ever explain. As your mother, I will always celebrate the day God blessed me with you. I just wish I could have had you here longer. 💔

This whole weekend is for you, son. I’m going to celebrate your life, your love, and every beautiful memory you left with us, even through my tears.

Happy Heavenly 36th Birthday, Rahstaneik. 👑💚 I love you beyond this life, and I miss you every single day.

Love always,
Mom 🕊️💚💙🎂🙏🏾👼🏾#HappyHeavenlyBirthday #GrievingMother #ForeverMySon #UntilWeMeetAgain #LoveBeyondLife by @mrslashawn2u
