4 years ago, we landed in Israel with kids, bags, and absolutely no idea what we were doing.

We didn’t move into a “beautiful new life”.
We moved into zero.

Two little kids, no familiar ground, no clear plan, no comfort zone to hide in.

Relocation is hard.

Especially when you come to a place with a different language, different rules, different energy, and you have to rebuild yourself while still being a mom, a partner, an adult, and a person who is somehow supposed to keep it together.

But the biggest lesson for me was this:

Don’t close.
Open up.

To the place.
To the people.
To the mess.
To the help.
To the chances you didn’t even know existed.

And then, slowly, the country starts opening back to you.

Israel is not always easy.
Not always calm.
Not always convenient.

But it is alive.
Real.
Mine.

I feel alive here in a way I don’t think I ever did before.

Even on the hardest days, there is always something: the sea, the light, a random kind person, kids running barefoot, someone smiling at you for no reason, a sunset that makes you shut up for a second and just breathe.

I’m happy my children are growing up here.
In a country where a child doesn’t have to be convenient to be loved.

And after four years, I can say it honestly:

We came here to start from zero.
And somehow, we found home.

❤️

One day, you’ll fall in love with sports completely and irreversibly.
And the real magic is finding someone who shares that fire with you ❤️‍🔥
