✨ Documenting the journey

POSTS STORIES REELS

I made a commitment to myself. Wake up at 5 AM, read my Bible EVERY day, and exercise at least 3 times a week. I was TWO weeks in, staying consistent, feeling good, and even encouraging other people to join me on this journey. 💪🏽🙏🏽💗

And BABYYYYY… here comes LIFE! 😩

The details? Y’all can read about it when I write my book! 📖😂

But seriously, life hit me HARD. I found myself feeling down, overwhelmed, alone, and completely thrown off my routine.

Then I started thinking… Isn’t it funny how the moment I started becoming more disciplined, getting closer to God, and being more intentional about becoming a better version of myself, EVERYTHING seemed to go left?!

And that’s when it hit me. The devil almost tricked me into abandoning the very habits that were helping me become who God is calling me to be!

But the enemy doesn’t get to win this one! 🙌🏽

So tomorrow, we’re back at it! 5 AM wake-ups, Bible study, and moving this body. Not because life has gotten any easier, but because I refuse to let my circumstances determine my commitment to myself, God & my goals.

And to everybody I encouraged to start this journey with me… I’M BACK! And if life knocked you off track too, this is your reminder that you can start again. And again, and again and AGAIN!

A setback doesn’t cancel the commitment‼️ by @ms.a.won

Some things you just feel 🥰

The way this stingray noticed me, stopped, and just hovered there 🥹 I’ve always said there’s something special about the way people—and even animals—gravitate toward me.

Little moments like this remind me that I’m chosen in so many ways. I believe that there’s a light God places inside of us that speaks before we even get to say a word. There’s an energy that can’t be explained, only felt.

And apparently… even the stingrays feel it. 😂

🗣️People say, “You love that little garden.” 🌱

I’m really just learning new things every day and having fun doing it. Trying to be a good steward of the small blessings while preparing for the big ones.

I was born & raised in the city 🗽 but I can’t wait until I’m collecting eggs 🥚, processing chickens 🐓, growing my own food 🥬 and living my farm girl dreams👩🏽‍🌾🧑🏾‍🌾

Did you know that you can use your EBT benefits to buy seeds? 🌱 …and you don’t need a big backyard to grow your own food. A balcony or windowsill is enough to get started.

If you you wanna grow too, here are 3 beginner friendly herbs:

🌿 Basil
🌿 Mint
🌿 Parsley

These people playin! You better learn how to grow your own food‼️ Everyone deserves access to fresh food. Let’s GROW together‼️ by @ms.a.won

Sometimes growth requires letting go‼️

Pruning isn’t punishment—it’s preparation. You’re not cutting away because the plant is failing. You’re removing what no longer serves it so its energy can go toward stronger, healthier growth.

Life works the same way. Some people, places & things have to be released—not because they’re bad, but because they’re keeping you from becoming everything you’re capable of being.

This little balcony garden has become so much more than growing vegetables. It’s growing me too. Every bloom & every pruning session reminds me that productivity isn’t about holding on to everything. Sometimes the best thing you can do for yourself is let some things GO‼️ by @ms.a.won

A few weeks ago, I was learning what earthworm castings were. Today, I’m harvesting basil from my balcony garden to make shrimp pasta🌿🍤

This little garden is teaching me patience & consistency. Watching these plants grow while I build a new life for myself has been unexpectedly therapeutic 💚

From balcony to plate. 🌱🍽️🍝

This pepper 🫑 might be just a small little inedible pepper to everyone else, but to ME

🫑 It’s proof that that you can start from 0 and learn a new thing.

🫑 It’s proof that it’s okay to learn as you go.

🫑 It’s proof that you can try & fail many times and there’s still room for success.

🫑 It’s proof that things may scare you but it okay to still do the thing scared.

This little pepper reminds me that everything I want in life starts(ed) the same way — with a seed, a little faith, and the courage to keep showing up.

Happy Sunday ✨ by @ms.a.won

Lately, I’ve been less focused on having it all and more focused on building a life that feels good not just looks good 😉

New hobbies. New experiences & a hummingbird feeder for a little razzle dazzle 🥰

I’m learning that the little things really do become the big things in life and I don’t need a lot to feel fulfilled—just peace, purpose, growth, and a little balance.

Here’s to creating a life I truly love 🩷 by @ms.a.won

They say deals are made on the golf course and I need IN 😉. I’m just happy to be here 😝. Same me, just less available, less forgiving, and way more aware‼️ by @ms.a.won

Life Lately ✨

🤍 **Still building my Veterans Home waitlist** and learning that I can’t do everything myself. Delegating is definitely a skill I’m working on.

✈️ **Navigating a long-distance relationship** with a really dope dude 🥰 which means I’ve been traveling a lot more than usual lately.

🌱 **My herbs didn’t survive the lack of TLC** (RIP 😩), so I’m starting over—this time with transplants. I planted tomatoes, basil, onions, carrots, mini bell peppers, jalapeños, spearmint, and cilantro. Fingers crossed for a successful harvest! 🤞🏽

🤓**Learning my Meta glasses** and figuring out all of the ways to create content with them. This video was made using them 😜

✨ Building, learning, planting, loving, and giving myself grace through it all. Life’s been life-ing, but I’m grateful for every season. 🌅 by @ms.a.won

Cousins really are your 1st friends. We have stories and laughs for days! 😝 We are all so lucky to have you as 1. A true Capricorn indeed. HUGE ♥️. Just a genuine soul! You were love & light ALWAYS! Even through your own pain and suffering. If you were invited you were showing up! If someone was selling something you were buying. We’re going to miss you cousin 😔 😢 by @ms.a.won
