Me: Have you put your sun cream on?

Just can't get the budgets for sub editors any more. by @ms_kate_burt

Reggie’s 16, and pretty slow. So I thought I’d send @declanfahy a cute video of Reggie sprinting like Usain Bolt after his walk: when we’re close to my office, where he’ll get breakfast, he really goes for it.

Didn’t quite go to plan. I finally caught up with him out in the street in the open air market when the third stallholder who’d tried, managed to block him.

Lovely neighbour’s home grown and homemade wine. Looks pretty. Is lethal. by @ms_kate_burt

"Words we don't say" - an excellent list from the 1990s New York Magazine editor Kurt Andersen.

Used to have non-journalistic list like this pinned to our fridge when @declanfahy and me first lived together. Must dig it out. All I remember off the top of my head now is "din dins".

For our 10th wedding anniversary @declanfahy gave me this nice old decade-of-marriage-themed tin box.

He filled it with 50 photographs of texts I'd sent him over the years.

Here are just a few.

Enjoy.

PS. Anyone know where he is? by @ms_kate_burt

Cat amongst the pigeons 🐈 by @ms_kate_burt

I noticed this while I was up early working before everyone else in the house woke. A quiet time of day. Then I noticed some movement. The sunflower seedling my 4-year-old brought home from school for Mother’s Day is doing well. But it also seemed to be moving. (Growing?) Thought it must be from the vibrations of me bashing my laptop keyboard. So I stopped. It didn’t. by @ms_kate_burt

Went to Edgware Road last night. First time I'd walked it.

Discovered there's a wonderful shop there that sells nothing but #pomegranates.

What's going on in the giant mixer – anyone know? Pomegranate smoothies? by @ms_kate_burt

The kids made us breakfast in bed this morning. The four year old made mine. Cheers! by @ms_kate_burt
