@sushidan.sg 's omakase set is bound to satisfy the craving for omakase. 🔸️🔸️ The Goshoku set (5 pcs $19.90) and The Nanairo set (7 pcs $29.90). Choose between regular or aburi. Comes with pickles, chawanmushi and miso soup. I had the Nanairo aburi set. Lightly charred with a tinge of smokyness which in no way blanketed the umaminess of the seafood. Huge love for the sushi rice, soft and a tad of vinegaryness, a flavor bomb if eaten on its own. 🔸️🔸️ So yeah, I will go back for it again. They are at Raffles City B1-44C and Parkway Parade 01-10. #8dayseat #sushidansg #thefoodphotographycommunity #parkwayparadesg #oishi by @msginginly
Most love korean bbq. I do!! 🔸️🔸️ Thin cut pork belly after cooked had a melty finish and other cuts that were thicker gave a chewy juicy mouthfeel. What always impressed me at any korean place, was the banchan. The varieties can be a meal on its own. When in Bae Sik Dang, please order the fried rice. Fried in the remaining pork fat, it was lipsmacking. I must say the pork were yummy, addictive even. 🔸️🔸️ @baesikdang1969 has a rustic homey vibe which I adore. They can be quite crowded so reservations are recommended. Address : 48 Tanjong Pagar Road, Singapore 088469 Opening hours: Daily 6pm to 4am Tel: 8127 6902 #8dayseat #MediaInvite #baesikdang1969 #topkoreanrestaurants #drool by @msginginly
@siopasta.singapore , the casual offshoot of Michelin-recognised Sio AOYAMA. 🔸️🔸️ The menu features more than 10 fresh, handcrafted pasta dishes starting from $14.80. The best truffle pasta with applewood bacon. Not overly truffle-ish, a tad of a smoky savory finish. Good. My favorite was the Unagi egg mayo pizza. Wonderful crust. Amazing that each ingredient harmonized so well together in each bite. 🔸️🔸️ Enjoyed the meal and I would go back again. Afterall, this was my second time there and I am sure 3rd time will be charmed. Pure honey with natural rich and aromatic flavors bursting from the eucalyptus blossoms. 🍯 Sheffield Honey Farm Australian bush honey was harvested from Tasmania's pristine natural environment. Smooth, robust and sweet, it is perfect as a spread for toast, a drizzling over yoghurt or cereal, stirred not shaken in teas and even ideal for cooking and baking. So many possibilities. 🍯 This honey came at a perfect timing. I took a teaspoon and slurped it at the end of the day. Hazy days meant honey days. Honey soothes the throat and is antibacterial too. 🍯 Get this golden goodness @foreveryoungsingapore #8dayseat #foreveryoungsingapore #honey #mediadrop #sweettreats by @msginginly
The udon carbonara @ojeje.sg 🔸️🔸️ Toss udon with egg and butter. Creamy buttery mouthfeel. 🔸️🔸️ Actually wanted the prawn bisque but was sold out. 😞 #8dayseat #ojejesg #rafflescitysg #lunches #notsponsored by @msginginly
Soup curry @soupcurry.bykisetsu . 🔸️🔸️ I got so excited when this came on my radar. Having had soup curry many times in Hokkaido and loving it and missing it, I just had to try. 🔸️🔸️ Choose your spice level. Mine was level 2 which was normal spicy. Not really that spicy. Paired it with white rice. I wished the rice was softer and fluffier. 🔸️🔸️ Preferred less curry powder, more spice and soup curry to be piping hot. But I guess this will do if I have craving. #8dayseat #soupcurrybykisetsu #soupcurry #lunches #droolworthy by @msginginly
@lumucafe , by the same folks @birdsofafeathersg @halcyonandcranecafe , it is a modern european cafe. 🔸️🔸️ A crab omelette lying on a pool of champagne beurre blanc. It was creamy and buttery. 🔸️🔸️ Located at the quieter side of @takashimayasc , 3rd level, it is conducive for quiet moments or work meetings or any meal of the day just to get away from the hustle and bustle. #8dayseat #topsingaporerestaurants #brunches #lumucafe #takashimayasg by @msginginly
In the mood for wanton mee so headed to Roxy Square for it. Have not had it for a long time. The wait for it was about half an hour. Expected because it was a weekend. 🔸️🔸️ We were there before 11.30 and the place was packed. If you are going to head there, go early. #8dayseat #lunches #topsingaporerestaurants #sgheritage #droolworthy by @msginginly
Here we are @labrasseriesg @fullertonbayhotelsg for lunch. Thanks to Amex Table for Two under the Platinum member benefits. A complimentary meal every two months of our choice. 🔸️🔸️ A set lunch specially curated. The breads were fantastic, served wsrm with a dollop of butter. It was a 3-course. My favorite was the gambas prawns with a savory olive oil sauce, perfect for dunking. Sad to say, the crab salad did not work out for me. Found a strand of hair in it after my lunch partner had almost half of the salad. I did what I had to do, show and tell to the staff and got it replaced. Was looking forward to the beef cheek. When it finally arrived, my first thought was why was the cheek so round and perfect. The meat was shredded till it looked minced. We found the meat a bit gamey. Haiz, we were so looking forward to a chunk of cheek. The seabass was nice. Then came dessert. I liked the tangy and refreshing passionfruit sorbet. However, the sorbet was frozen. Couldnt wait for it to thaw a bit so had to eat it like a popsicle. 🔸️🔸️ Still, we appreciate the Table for Two complimentary dining. Perhaps when and if we visit La Brasserie again, we would try other dishes. #8dayseat #labrasseriesg #thefullertonbayhotelsingapore #thefullertonhotelsingapore #tatlerdiningsg by @msginginly
Media Invite* Known for its wood-fired approach to Spanish cooking, @asadorsingapore 's latest menu celebrates the bold, produce-driven flavours of Spain, from hand-carved 100% acorn-fed Jamón Ibérico and Santoña anchovies to grilled squid with pepper and smoked tomato, roasted Spanish suckling pig, Segovian style, and Spanish red peppers with pil-pil. 🔸️🔸️ Be prepared to be whisked off to a "secret room" for a little sweetness in the form of smoked vanilla ice cream with grilled peaches, peach gel and bourbon jelly, alongside a refreshed selection of Spanish wines and cocktails. 🔸️🔸️ I can see why the restaurant was packed even on a Thursday night. Food was deliciously addictive . 🔸️🔸️ Reservations highly recommended. @yamahan.sg is the first restaurant concept by Shohei Yamamoto. Hamburg patties are handmade using japanese beef blended with pork for added flavor and texture. 🔸️🔸️ Yamahan places strong emphasis on hospitality, to evoke the warmth of dining in someone’s home. Yamamoto Hamburg’s Menu is rooted in the belief that every element of a meal deserves care and attention as shown on its various dishes. 🔸️🔸️ @yamahan.sg (sister outlet of @hikiniku.to.come_singapore ) soft launches on 22nd Sept at Lau Pa Sat. It is located on the Shenton Way side and faces SGX centre. #8dayseat #MediaInvite #yamahansg #newopening #comfortfood❤️ by @msginginly
@birdsofafeathersg reopens after a revamp. With a refreshed look, comes a revamped menu. 🔸️🔸️ @eugene.see at the helm, his thought process shown through the complex flavors and textures of the dishes. The mushroom mafaldine, different kinds of mushrooms with mushroom sabayon had a delicate nutty tone. Loup de Mer was the european seabass with the crunchy fish scales. Alittle bit of heat and cabbagey umaminess. I think this dessert, sparkling ice jelly, was concocted for the non-sweet palate. Refreshing, zesty with a whole lot of sparkling bubblies! 🔸️🔸️ Chef Eugene calls it "the progressive cuisine" because it changes now and then. Regulars would be pleased that a few old favorites are still on the menu. But do try the new dishes. Thank you, Eugene for the jio and as always, the very warm hospitality. #8dayseat #birdsofafeathersg #lunches #MediaInvite #topsingaporerestaurants by @msginginly
