First stop: Création Africa Day! @ifas.southafrica @uvuafrica

About a year ago, I had the wonderful opportunity to use my platform to call on creative and cultural entrepreneurs to apply for the second Création Africa programme.

Today, I got to witness the Top 15 entrepreneurs from South Africa, Lesotho and Malawi and hear how their businesses have since evolved through mentorship and incubation.

Come to work with me: A Senior researcher @andani.africa

Our organisation served as a knowledge partner @creativefuturesafrica and we were on the ground documenting the conversations shaping Africa’s creative economy.

It was two days of listening, typing 😅, connecting the dots and trying to capture what was being said but also contributing to what happens next.

There’s great value in gathering like this but there’s more value in seeing the conversations translate to action! by @mt_mokoena
