Doin some shoe science with @obozfootwear 🧪👟 by @mtn.alice

The only shoe that I actually enjoy belaying in 🧗🏻‍♀️

I am proudly addicted to @bedrocksandals. Ever since they first launched a pair, I have been first in line as a customer for them and I use them for my everyday life. Through the years as a college student, as a barista, as a walk commuter, a bike commuter, a climber, I have used these shoes for nearly every activity in every season of the year and I only have great things to say!

This is not an ad, this is genuinely just how much I love the shoes !!! by @mtn.alice

There I said it 🙃 I think demonstrating "discipline" through our diets is the most boring, unimpressive, and exhausted way to do so. Who cares, yawn.

Some people might even be of the camp that discipline itself is overrated. I think it has its time and place, and love examples of healthy relationships to the trait. Some people prefer the word devotion instead. I'm really inspired by athletes and artists who have a disciplined practice in a healthy way. by @mtn.alice

Here at @obozfootwear sometimes we get just a little bit too excited about being @bcorporation certified.

I guess October is not really a season but you get where I'm going here! October is by far my favorite month to be a runner, and fall is the best running season 🎃🍁

Just went on my first run since my Wolverine DNF. It's been about 15 days of resting and then some walking and hiking, and it was so nice to finally get out for something slightly more fast paced. There's nothing more freeing than flying down a trail. Happy to be back :) by @mtn.alice

Life since getting home! I'm not sure that I've ever summited something in Glacier this late in the year before. Felt super grateful to get one last day in the sun up high 🌞

Ate a pomelo for the first time, cannot endorse 👎🏻

Getting ready for attempt number 57 (probably) of The Artist's Way, but with a TWIST - see my last reel for more info if you want to join me!

We saw You Can See Everything and it was... disorienting in the best way. I am endorsing 👍🏻

Any day you get to hitch an ice tool to the running vest is a good day.

Living in my Ann Arbor merch, thanks mom ♥️

My fav sweet treat to pack in on a hike @sprite ily

Legos and nachos, the signs of an October well spent

Walking around until I feel back to 100% after the 100 mile attempt! No runs yet 🙃

When I'm not living in my A2 merch, I've been living in my GGAI hoodie if it's not painfully obvious already since I'm wearing it in like every single photo

Sedimentary layers galore!!! That's all see ya next update ⭐️ by @mtn.alice

THE ATHLETE'S ARTIST'S WAY: starting November 1 🌀

A free, 12-week variation of Julia Cameron's "The Artist's Way" that is adapted for athletes who are looking to reignite their creative practice 💥

This idea has been a brewing for a long time, and I'm so excited to finally put it into action! This will hopefully be the first of many rounds facilitating this. Everyone in this first cohort will be the guinea pigs 🐹 Excited to see what we can create together!

To join, subscribe to my Substack (linked in bio) and join The Athlete's Artists's Way group under the chat tab.

This is not a cooking channel but I need to profess my love for Beans, Beantella, and @bean.supporter. by @mtn.alice

We just got back from a road trip and the house is insane. More insane than pictured in this video 😅

Training is a spectrum with one end being hardcore rest & recovery and the other end being hardcore performance. These ends of the spectrum are symbiotic. The more I can be comfortable with true rest, the more I can ask of my body, and then my athletic spectrum widens.

It is important to have self-trust as an athlete, and currently I have a big riff going on between my mind and body. My body needs to be able to trust me that when its had enough, I will listen and respect that!

It's time to rest 😴 for me, that looks like reduced mileage, moving for fun not performance, and getting back into a winter strength training build! by @mtn.alice
