The #back2skoul caravan of @MTNFoundation is in motion to support the new academic year for the underprivileged children. First stopover : “Nouvelle Destinée” orphanage at the Lendi neighbourhood in Douala.

For the 2nd consecutive year, MTN Foundation takes care of the back-to-school of the inmates of this social care centre. Registration fees, school books, stationery (exercise books, pens ...) are offered to ensure they have access to quality education.

In addition to the school kits, MTN Foundation provides the 38 pupils of this orphanage with protection equipment : umbrellas, overcoats... Supporting needy children also involves the availability of Friends of the MTN Foundation. They provide varied assistance to social care centres in the 10 regions of #Cameroon throug the school year.
The launch of the #back2skoul caravan with Friends of the MTN Foundation on 5 September 2018 was also an occasion to celebrate the International #CharityDay.
