Fun fact: I recently found out tulips can bring extreme happiness, and cause people to feel appreciated, and loved.

Flashback to Archuleta County Fair 2024 when these boys took a bucket of flowers and made arrangements and entered them in Floriculture. Floriculture does not take age or experience level into consideration when judging. The boys each got 1st in their categories, Kaleidoscope of Color and Medium Arrangement. And Koen won Grand Champion of Floriculture. You never know what you’re good at until you try. by @mtngypsyflowers

This “adorable” little puppy stole my autographed copy of Sweet Pea School and tried to consume the knowledge in it! Literally!
I guess she thought it was homework? 😫
Hopefully @thefarmhouseflowerfarm will offer signed copies in December again this year

Patience is one of the hardest parts of flower farming. You plant a seed, or bulb, or plant and diligently take care of it for weeks, months, or years until you can harvest. This year these Alba and Apricot Foxglove will stay green and build roots. Next year they will produce strong, tall, beautiful spires of flowers.
What flowers are you waiting on this season?

Huge thank you to everyone who ordered Valentines flowers through me and supported my small business. I was prepared for the snow but not the power outages 😱. I’m glad all the beauties were delivered. I would love to see photos of the flowers at home tag @mtngypsyflowers to share by @mtngypsyflowers

Valentine’s Day is a couple of days away and I have several bouquets still available. Free delivery in Pagosa *even if it’s dumping snow* by @mtngypsyflowers

I’m so excited to have gotten my key 🔑 to the geodesic domes downtown, and work with a wonderful group to grow veggies! With the snow hopefully coming this week it was wonderful to be able to get my hands in the dirt. by @mtngypsyflowers

Starting off the year reviewing last year’s individual flowers. Which ones I liked, the ones I didn’t like, what grew well and what didn’t. I also noticed all the love the flowers have given back to me. Several opened with a heart center, food for bees, and a shaded spot for cat naps.
